yeah, so, since the last time I posted an entry here, quite a bit of stuff has changed in my life. The first and most important change is that I'm not pushing shopping carts anymore to support myself through college. No, now I'm working INSIDE THE STORE! *oooohh, ahhh* yeah, I work in produce right now, but hopefully I'll get a chance to move into the home entertainment department. I really can't complain about the job I have now though, it's very laid back and not strenuous in the least.
So, what besides the new job? well, I've stopped using windows and PCs for one. I got sick and tired of reinstalling and rebooting and reformatting (I'm no newbie. Heck, I've reinstalled windows xp over 20 times in the past year. That is just unreasonable.).
Yep, not too long ago, I purchased a 12" inch Powerbook G4. This puppy has everything I need. CDRW/DVD combo drive, 1 ghz processor, airport (802.11b/g) ready, firewire, usb 2.0, the works. Oh, and I can take it with me wherever I go. It's awesome. The only downside is, no Premiere for the mac anymore. That's ok though. I'll probably just use iMovie for awhile until I can afford the cash to score a copy of Final Cut Express (which owns premiere, by the way). geez, I really hate my job. I'm not about to quit though, lol. I'm just glad to know that I won't be doing it for the rest of my life. Here's to college and a beter Job!!!

w00t! I finished my Cowboy Bebop Video a couple days ago, now I'm refining a couple things, as well as deciding on an export format for the web. I'm going to be making an mpeg 2 version, which will look very good since I am using the vobs from my dvds.
