the human will to survive
2006-06-29 05:51:51
What is it that causes humans to want to hold on to life? How do we Know that this side of the living spectrem is better then the other side, hm? But for some unknown reason we as a race of beings cling to life like the sucky fish that you get to clean your fish tank sticks to the tanks side. What brought this thought to the forefront of my mind was a simple post at the bottom the latest AppleGeeks comic today. One of their forums members (one that has been there for sometime and is well liked i guess) has a mother that is having severe medical problems. I am not going to go into detail about it becuase i would likely butcher the story and all, but here is the link:

I personally think that this is a worthy cause for donating money to if you have any spare moeny. Read through all that was said by others and the one that is effected the most because of this. See if you will donate or not. But at least look at what is being said. If i had money of my own i would try to help this person my self. But for the time being I am extremely broke now. But I have given my two bits and I hope that you will give yours too.

what is life
2006-06-08 23:23:33
Is life getting up every day and going about your normal shin-dig? Or is it something larger? Honestly I don't know. I hear enough people telling me that I need to get a life. But seriously, how do you go about getting a life if you don't know what it is about. I could easily say that my "Life" is just me playing video games, reading, listening to music and ignoring the world. But people would still feel the need to tell me that I Need to get a life. If what I just stated was my life and someone told me to get a life, how would I go about it? Would I completely drop my previous life style and start on another kind of life, become a different person? Or would I just alter my current "Life" to be something different but still resembling my old one? I know what I would do myself though. I would go through one of my all time favorite actions first. I would flip said person the "You are #1" sign and tell them, "F*** you, I have a life. You don't like it. Not my problem." and then promptly walk off. But if what I have now isn't a "Life", what is?

morphine
2006-05-16 01:16:38
We all now know that Blurb isn't just addicted to morphine but practically lives off the stuff. I mean any dude with needles in his hair and that tries to use a pencil as an injection obviously has problems. Fun thing is... THATS ME! But only when I am wearing my badass bunnie hat.
None of this make sense to you. Well it really shouldn't unless you were awake at 4 A.M. in thief's basement on sunday morning. We had sugar going through our veins (read ice cream), with a mix of caffine (read random assortment of pop), and sleep dep. This combonation can make most of anything really interesting. And at about 4 A.M. VoD got a really random busrt of inspiration (read rant about morphine) and started creating characters for a web comic he might want to start (he'll tell ya more). So now I am Blurb. And it is good.
All I have to say is.....
MORPHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lines lines lines
2006-03-29 14:54:13
I found out that VOD has a great seething passion of hatred towards lines now adays. I think that it might have something to do with the five or so hours we were in the line for the dealers room before we finally got into it. It seems that he doesn't have the ability to stay still for very long with out anything to keep his mind off of things. At this point I would start to fear lines just a Little. Because when you get a bored VOD and O/O together and they have empty drink bottles... Well to say the least, it can hurt. I think that I ended up being in the middle of a war for about 2 or so hours after I quit the battle because of all the eye jabs and nose bashings from empty Dew and Gatorade bottles. Just to let you know, Dew bottles are good for the eye poking, but damn are those Gatorade bottles good for general face bashing.
Well on another note, VOD actually managed to get me to participate in the Rave this year at Sakura-con. It seems that we had a few moth like cameras floating around our hands for a while. I myself wasn't in a position to really notice because the goggles that I was wearing at the time we really f***ing fogged up and I couldn't see anything except for the bright and shiny glow sticks and the never ending congo lines. And man, just to let you know. Those congo lines are bloody intense. I ended up running a good part of the time that I was in one each time just to keep up with the person that was in front of me. Twas fun though.
'Side from all of that I had a generally good time this weekend. Got lots of stuff, met up with old friends, that kinda thing.
Random useless info for the day:
-The Space Needle has the ability to fit up peoples A and disapear for a weekend
-Don't feed O/O mexi food, it could kill ya

the curse of money
2006-03-13 11:46:21
We all know and like money (some more then others). We all know that money is used for living (rent, food, utilities, etc.). It is also used for and more generally enjoyed for recreational spending. Well I like if for that at least. But it really sucks when that recreational spending bites you in the ass and cuts into living expenses. The reason that I bring this up is because I am sitting here on a my new laptop (no VoD you can't steal it or kill me to use it at school). Great laptop and all. But the way that this laptop was aquired was through Dell's own Fuck Up. When my mother Lonewolf order her system they fucked up on the mailing date. So she called in and the said "Oh, our bad. We don't make that style of system anymore. But what we can do is upgrade your order a little at no extra charge and send it out to you." Well that is great! So my mother gets the system and it runs beautifully. Now I want one. Not a problem, I can pay it off in chunks with my school money and my own paychecks. But that friday the original laptop was sent in and Dell charged the laptops full price to my mothers bank account AGAIN! So I had to pay 1k to mother to let us stay in our home and I still owe her $400. But this is what is hurting us money wise. Sometimes I hate Dell, A LOT..... oh well till later :)
