  • Ahh, freetime... 2002-11-11 21:17:31 This past weekend I took some time off instead of going out. Well, I went out friday night and had a good time... from what I can remember. The rest of the weekend I spent working on another video and actually accomplished alot. I'm already halfway through it and have only spent 3 days on it. I've had a good friend giving me support and the video might be done by next week...

    Don't expect this much output from me on a regular basis. Once I find a job and exams start piling up again I'll be back to spending 8 hours a night in the library. Especially the next 3 semesters when I get to take Calc I, II and III along with quantum physics. Yeah, I'm not looking forward to that.

  • Finished video, unfinished studying 2002-11-06 21:21:17 Mid-terms are a bitch... especially when you're having them 3 weeks after the middle of the term. I'm pretty much letting shit pile up for me though (procrastination is the only way). Other then that my art professor didn't understand my video at all due to him being old and things went too quickly. He'd rather stare at a painting for a half hour then watch an active movie even though all we friggin do in his class is watch movies.

    Video wise I finished my movie on monday afternoon! GO ME! So it's been out a few days and already has more hits then my first movie. I'm hoping that means that it's a much better movie, but so far I've only got one half-way negative reply from the AMV community. The gaming community likes it though, but they're less knowledgable about these then the good people at animemusicvideos.org (college has taught me how to kiss ass).   • Party time 2002-11-04 11:52:56 Well, my hopes of finishing my video failed when I was in the halloween riot in madison, WI. I got locked in a resturant by the cops for 3 hours while they launched tear gas at the rest of the party (well I guess being locked in was better then the other option). Needless to say I didn't get that much sleep and ended up using all my free time recouperating.

    Boots of beer > Bus.

    I WILL finish it this week though despite having 3 more exams (one down, two to go). But, boy is a nap looking good right about now. 
  • New video 2002-10-30 10:30:37 I'm working on a new video with System of a down - F*ck the system that's coming along faster then I would've guessed. I'm about a minute and a half in and so far the vid has been flying. It's got great lip synching and the action seems to flow well with the video. I'm sure it'll be my best video and will get good reviews (so review peoples videos D:< they really want your opinion). My first video was very basic but introduced me to what a video should have and how to do it. My second video will be done quickly but hopefull will show that I have some talent in the video editing field.

  • School takes time 2002-10-23 13:45:26 Damn I wish I didn't have to spend 12 hours a day in the library. I am working on getting a job with the university in video editing, then I'd be able to use university computers to make my videos. Plus, get a ton of free software with university keys (which of course I wouldn't distribute to everybody else ;) ).

    Until then I'm stuck being poor. :(
