JOURNAL: Elendil101 (Mieko Kaida)

  • Well, then... 2005-08-23 07:08:00 As I like to rant, I am apologizing for what I am about to say. If you feel you will judge me for it or become angry with me, then please do not read it.

As much as I really want to, there is no way I can afford to spend money on making these movies. At all. I don't think people realize that I don't like subtitles either, but because I don't have a ripper (and a shout out to you for telling me that) I have no way of taking them out. And yes, I use downloaded material. Get over it, people! I'm sorry my video isn't contest-quality, but I had fun with it and that is what matters. Apparently, there are very few people on here who aren't profectionists. Though, I am being hypocritical because I greatly enjoy reading people's opinions about my video. Just not when they continually repeat themselves.

1- I know subtitles are amature-ish and distracting
2- I know that bad quality is not good
3- I know Trigun is overused

-end rant--please do not take anything I said personally--if you have a problem, then tell me and don't just sit there and cry about it-

So, what am I going to do now? Get better. for Free. I am going to continue using downloaded material, because it is free. I may try to download a free ripper, because it is free. And I will simply do these videos in my free time... because, well, it is free!
  • First Time 2005-08-17 19:26:48 I must declare that AMV is the coolest place ever. I could spend hours here.

Hopefully I will be able to work on many more videos of my own, but there is only one for now.

Thousand Foot Krutch (TFK) is an awesome Christian band that I was introduced to a long time ago. however, I never actually -heared- them until spring 2004. I've seen them once in concert at Ichthus, where they were decent, but I believe the lead singer was getting sick because the very next week they had to cancel a concert near my house because he was really ill.

The song "Faith, Love, and Happiness" is one of the greatest songs that describe myself. I connected it with Vash immediatly. He is constantly saying "Love and Peace". And while at first it is just another "why can't we all just get along?" song, I think that this song has an even deeper meaning. To me, it is one of those songs that make you want to cry every time you hear it.

The CD it is from "Phenominon" (sp?) also has the songs "Last Words", "I climb", "Bounce", and "This is the Call" that I hope I will be able to use one day.
