JOURNAL: CCoojak (Chris Blakeslee Jr.)

  • The Next Step 2003-12-31 14:26:56 Well, I've got the footage captured for my Vampire Hunter D video. I've put up with a lot of sh*t to get this far but now I am ready to start it. I think it will be set to Unforgiven by Metallica. Sounds good to me. I will start to cut the footage in a day or so, and I'm thinking that i may have the video up and running (for all thought who even read this and/or care) in about 2 months. Earlier if I get plenty of free time to work with. I think that's enough rambling for now. So, I'll keep you few... if any... informed on the progress of the video. :-) Bye Bye now
  • ... 2003-12-18 18:09:07 I recieve very few hits for my videos which leads me to believe one of three things: 1) My videos are actually that bad. 2) My anime choices or music choices don't meet what people want. or 3) I need haven't pleaded everyone to take a look at at least one video and offer money for their time. Well, the 3rd choice is never going to happen so lets start like this. Hello, and i've obviously got some interest from you if you've read this far. I thank you. I'm CCooJak, a struggling student whose interest in Anime has got him tormenting other people with horrid works of art he call AMVs. My first finished and official video was a Blood: The Last Vampire video done to Raistlin and the Rose by Lake of Tears. It wasn't that good and had many flaws. I would like to thank my video editing professor for that one, seeing as how I created it after attending his class in which "Transitions make the film." That is not so. I feel that transitions can sometimes ruin an AMV, so in showing as much I decided to create a new Blood video. This one was made to a Stratovarius song and fit a little better. I dabbled a little into After Effects on this one so it has a few spots that are more intriguing then anything in the first video. Nothing really special though.
I am a Multimedia major who is specializing in video editing. So my AMVs are what I am trying to put forth most of my effort towards. I would like help and encouragement in any way or form. I use Premiere to edit my films and compile the videos. Anything I do to it afterwards is done in After Effects mainly. The latest video I've finished is an Escaflowne video. Please check it out. It has a few problems that I am aware of and will work towards buffering up and remastering. So look for the remastered version at a later date. I have nothing in the works at the moment. But a Vampire Hunter D video will be in production shortly. Give me time if you are interested in seeing it. Well, thanks for your support (or lack there of) and I apologize for taking your time. Hope to hear from you shortly and I will write again once a new video has started. Goodbye anime lovers of the world. -Chris-
