Chapter 1 of Bebop Story is up

Alright, the first chapter of my Bebop story "Aces Wild" is now up on fanfiction.net. I will continuously update the story if it seems people are actually reading the damned thing. Hopefully I'm not going to do to horribly with the story or the characters. I've put up two chapters to date and we'll see how people react.

Well, I haven't recieved a response from the AMV admins yet, and something tells me I probably never will.
Someone told me that they will never allow me to put my vid online, so, I suppose it looks like the "The Other Doom Song" will never see the light of day unless I can find a webhost.
If someone is interested in seeing it and can get vids and the like over AIM, send me an IM at Katara1982 and I'll be happy to send the vid to you.
My road march last night? I was one of only 18 people that made it, out of about a hundred.
My time was 2:59:15
Meaning, I made it by 45 seconds.

A 12 mile Road march tonight...

Yeah, as part of our EIB testing, we have to march 12 miles in 3 hours with a 35 pound rucksack on our backs.
It doesn't SEEM that bad when you think about it, but then remember you are feeling every soul crushing step in those twelve miles. Combine that with the fact that most people can't walk eight miles in under three hours and you can imagine what is facing me tonight. However, we only have to endure that three hours of hell, after that we get the day off and possibly tuesday as well.
I finished a brand new video as well. Using Invader Zim footage I combined it with Bad Religion's "I Want to Conquer the World."
Unfortunately I cannot upload it at the moment because Invader Zim doesn't fall into the Anime category, I emailed an admin about it asking for manual confirmation, but we'll see I suppose.

Yeah, still working on my two new vids. Consdering how long I've been working on them this may surprise some people. But my motivation has slowly been slipping away. I'm unsure what this is due to but I believe it is probably related to the fact that we start EIB testing sometime soon and that is going to wear me the HELL OUT.
EIB means Expert Infantry Badge and it is something of an honor to be given it. However, you have to take an assload of classes and tests to get the damned thing, so needless to say it is quite a hassle.
But enough of my bitching, I just wanted to post a quick update.

The Bebop story is coming along nicely, I've spent the past few days doing some research on Mars where much of the story will take place. However, thats not the reason I'm writing.
I go on the internet to look for people to talk to. That is my primary use for the internet. I don't use it to download gigs and gigs of porn, nor do I use it to engage in wierd ass activities. All I want to do is TALK to people.
However, more and more of late, I find it difficult to speak to intelligent people. It seems that the well has been pumped dry so to speak. I used to be able to find decent groups of people that I had much in common with, but nowadays I have people IMing me with "ASL?"
GOD.
You don't walk up to another human being in life, demand their age, sex and where they live do you? Christ, you know how goddamned WIERD that makes you look when that is the first thing you say to me?
I've had 15 year old girls attempt to seduce me, it's pretty goddamned creepy, I'm 23 years old. I'm old enough to remember Ronald Regean, they are barely old enough to remember George Bush Sr.
People really should learn that the internet is a place where people judge you on character. I attempt to speak to people online as I would in real life, that way should it ever happen that we meet, there are no surprises about how I act to them.
Well, since it's getting late and I AM an old man, I think I shall go to bed and end my ramblings for now.
