Investing in them at this stage of their careers is almost safer than investing in gold. I also bought a box of 93, 92 and 2010 Bowman. the last 2 were GREAT years for baseball cards (2012 is looking to be spectacular as well... but most of the major releases are still to come) the first was rather an impulse buy. 93-2009 was bad years for baseball cards, but I think their starting to recover. I suppose it just might bring the economy with it too :D

I don't get what they did with Last Exile. The first season was a GRAND opera worthy of a Luciano Pavarati ovation! But this second season... is nothing but a soap opera. Worthy of a Brittany Spears toon. Nearly the entire cast is made up of girls (not entirely a bad thing) and all the hijinx in the end just feels like Escaflowne. Escaflowne's not a bad show, just it's obviously been made to appeal to... uh, NOT me ok? :) Last Exile Fam's not bad just in the end I was kinda' wondering why I'm watching it. Taken on it's own it was a decent waste of time, but as a sequel to a MASTERFUL sequence that could appeal to ANYONE it just seemed rather let down to me.
In the end I give Last Exile Fam a failure out of 10. - 2012-04-13 02:11:34 Waiting for the word that says my new house is ready to move into :( it's been over a month and a half of living in an empty house not planning more than a couple weeks in advance :( My appologys for anyone waiting for anything from me. The anxiety is killin me too! Not only that but the longer I stay here the less money I'll have and the possibility I'll have to go a shot while without internet looms nearer. I just can't wait to get moved in is all really.

Woops! Not only did I start watching the subbed episodes of Last Exile Fam on Hulu I also inadvertantly watched the last episode first! lol. Well at least I know it's finished now :x.
I also FINALLY watched Eureka 7. Good show. I don't remember much about it except it was good >.< sorry I'd forgot to come to the org for too long it seems :/. -

THIS is why I watch anime! I loved this series! It may have been a bit idealistic, but it was so real (compared to other animes... well the main char did bust out this big ass sword one time and one of the final battles was to laugh... not to mention the entire premises of the thing in the first place) and well thought out! I like a little gore too, not too much now! But when a shot is fired I want it to be targeted at the HEAD AND I WANT A BLOODY MESS!!!! lmao! Well this does not disappoint there! It's like Last Exile, only bloody when it really has to, but spares you no expense. It has ppl roasted in their own skin :P
BUT it's also very logical and very refined. You don't find that in many animes these days. It's not a Comedy, and suffers cuz it's not actiony enough for the action fans. But for me it's a classic! Last Exile is a really good show to compare it too, it's just like that... just... without the planes and things (the action sequences aren't very intense either). I'd probably give it an 8/ 10 over all. It's free on Hulu! You should give it a try if you'd not seen this one yet, the dub is quite good as well.
