midterms nooooo -.-

so my midterms are coming soon, and that means I need to start studying... especially thermodynamics -.- ..... i just screwed up the last quiz too. I'm starting to get the hang of how the quizzes work though, they usually start with a pointless tutorial question which will not help you whatsoever, so this time I didn't waste time trying to relate the quiz question to it. But I still screwed up ><.
Fun stuff: Well, with all midterms studying going on and all, you gotta have points where you relax a bit, so I joined the japanese club here in the university at my friends' request. Last week, we had a language exchange where someone was teaching me japanese =O. Then each group did a little skit, and they told me to say "sorry, my japanese is no good" XD. This week was even more hilarious. The topic was katakana (words that japanese make to mimic foreign words, like chocolate for example). So we decided to focus the skit on sports, and we each chose a sport and pretended to watch it on tv. The problem was that we were so disorganized that we ended up planning to wing it. The way it worked was that half the group would be watching the 'tv' and the other members would be 'playing' the sport on tv. I feel sorry for the guy that was acting my part, since the only katakana I was fresh with was from Ginban Kaleidoscope... but I couldn't stop laughing as the guy tried to imitate figure skating, just about everyone was too busy laughing too XD. Ah well, fun times... now I'm off to class =/ -

Things aren't turning out too bright lately... I am really disappointed in my Thermodynamics course, the professor should really try to make the course more reasonable. I don't normally blame the course for my problems, but this time it has just annoyed me beyond that. He gives us the assignments and doesn't teach the material until the day before the quiz (which is based on the assignments). Then the tutorial we have right before the quiz shows us how to do a question that is completely unrelated to the quiz question. I wasted half the time for the quiz thinking of whether or not the tutorial material had to do with the quiz, since I couldn't relate any of it ><. I'm starting to really dislike (won't use hate yet, but that may come soon) this course, since this has happened for three weeks already. The prof seems to be getting better at handling the material teaching time now though, so I'll keep hoping for now, seems like someone talked to him before I got the chance to.
I have completely lost the motivation to continue my solo project, I don't even know how that happened, I was so into it when I was editing =/. I don't want to drop it, so I'll just leave it alone for a bit while I work on my mep segment or maybe another solo project. Hopefully I get motivated for it again.
At least there has been some good stuff for me lately, been watching Kamen no Maid Guy, really funny series =D. And watched Ginban Kaleidoscope, and absolutely loved it. Despite many people that say they don't like it (its not even very known to begin with), I just really got into it. If it was available in the dvd stores I probably would have already gotten it =/.
and omg, one of my roommates (a japanese exchange student) offered to make a japanese dish for all of us (those in the house), and I thought, why not it should be interesting. My god did that taste so good, and it looked so nice too that I felt guilty deforming and eating it. My camera died of batteries just as I was about to take the picture ><, so that's a pic i found from google. It looked very much like it too, my roommate is so skilled =)
Well, my other roommate invited a whole bunch of friends over for a drinking party today, let's see how that goes... (i have a bad feeling about this) -
long weekend =O

Had a lot of fun so far in this long weekend, full of bbq and smash brawl :). Must have played for so many hours, lost track of how long it was =/. The bbq was nice, but it was soooo windy and cold, everyone was huddling near the bbq grill to keep warm. Nonetheless it was a very great time and I really enjoyed it =D. One more day left of this long weekend, time to relax before school picks up again...
Though I haven't done any editing in such a long time, inspiration seems to have left me for some time now. I'm sure I'll continue the project once I get the motivation back.

so work term's finished, work report's finished, stupid online course is finished, and schools about to start again.
Moved back into the offcampus residence (12 month contracts suck -.-) and it was one of the biggest sh!tholes I have seen... I honestly cannot imagine how someone can live in a place like that (that was definitely not how I left it for the sublet guys!). I took a very long time to clean up the room, and the landlord has arranged for a cleaning of the rest of the house. Utterly disgusting mess here... and I need to get back my chair, someone took it ><
Professors are flipping our schedule around at their own leisure, I currently have no time to eat lunch some days from 8:30 to 4:30, man they gotta think about the lives of the students here... -

ok... so I got Brawl, but I haven't played Melee, only played the very first N64 version of smash... Needless to say, I died. A lot. Takes so much getting used to since the controls are different =/, I still haven't unlocked any characters... yeah I lost to Marth all those times -.- It's fun, but would be more fun once I can play properly =P
Also picked up my sketchbook again (its been a while since I last drew anything). Tried drawing some anime stuff (to me that means looking at a poster or picture and redrawing it on the sketchbook). Still learning how to draw eyes properly... the characters are looking like demons right now since I can't do it right XD
New amv progressing slowly.... not much else to say about that...
