I guess a lot of the winners were kind of expected, though I would have liked to see Efflorescent Dawn and Ayumix there, ah well, there's bound to be things I disagree with, enough about that, there's been plenty of journal entries with that topic.
in other news... I can't believe that I have gotten myself into potentially making that youtube video for my coworker.... he says that the company that he called to make it may end up charging a couple thousand dollars (they havent confirmed yet). O.O last time he told me his budget was only 3 digits... which is why he came to me. I guess I wouldn't really mind doing it if I got some benefit for it, and then theres all the legal issues I told him to take care of before he decided to consider me. So I'm kind of a last resort now, wonder what will happen...
and... ok so i was bored on a sunday and decided to fool around with creating custom magic cards (i saw some online so i thought it was pretty neat). i dont play the game (yet i own some cards =/), but i know how it works, and i figured i'd make some anime characters as cards. and as unfair as they are, its all in for good fun anyways =P

that's the first thing written on my online course team assignment instruction document, which is an online team thing where you have to work with random ppl to complete assignments... but of all quotes to write for teamwork... they had to pick this one.... maybe they're trying to tell us something about this course. Maybe it'll get as bloody as the quote suggests o.o
anyways.. today at my workplace work was like usual, until lunchtime where my coworker told me he had to create a youtube video for the company, and that his boss told him to hire a certain video company to make it. I was like o.o there are companies out there that just slap video clips together, add music and effects and then charge ppl? His boss said it would probably cost around $300 canadian... I find this really hard to believe that there would be companies like this o.o. I told him that it really shouldn't cost that much, unless they're like gonna shove effects everywhere into the video, but even that shouldn't be that much. He then asked if I wanted to do it... I said no since I had better things to do with my time and for sure I wouldn't be getting much for doing this video anyways (I'd have to go through dvd ripping and the lot.... who knows they might even have to check the legality of my computer hardware/software since they're always high security on legal issues... too much hassle ><). If they gave me the resources and I could do it during work hours I might have accepted however.... yeah, as if that would ever happen ><. Well I guess I shouldn't be underestimating the companies until the final video comes out, but I have a feeling that its not going to be worth that couple hundred...

all i can say is.... wth? there's like millions of these types of videos, each with different characters dancing.... i saw one with Kyo and Yuki from Fruits Basket... and one with Miku Hatsune from Vocaloid... and one with L from death note........... I can only imagine that Chii's Sugardansen led to this... o.o -

sooo.... my province has a new holiday called "family day".... o.o, though it made no difference to me since this term i work at an airport. But there was like no traffic today =O i made it to work in record time! I actually didn't know about this holiday until like half a month ago... I still find it strange how they can just pull a new holiday out of nowhere and for only one province too... a holiday for the sake of a holiday doesn't really seem realistic to me.
my online course is giving me more grief than ever ><, assignments that take way too long and are too easy to fail. Why must I take this course... why couldn't this be an option... this course isn't helping me at all, all its doing is taking away my time and sanity... -

omg... terrible weather conditions today ><, soo much snow.... and skidding cars... I couldn't even see the lines in the parking lot at my work place, had to guess =P. Other coop students were talking about taking a day off today... maybe I should have considered the same. I am so not looking forward to the drive home, its gonna be hell o.o (gonna be in like 7.5 hours, and they say around 30 cm of snow ><)
But I can't wait to get home and start my new video project =)
