    That makes me le sad because it was supposed to be my first con. u_u'

    Saw them in concert the other night . . . I almost didn't go because I was frickin' tired from working all weekend, but I bought one of those nasty-tasting 5-hour energy drinks and it kept me sustained for quite a while . . . it possessed me to do some weird shit though. o_o' Like, I was randomly breaking out in one of those dances where you wiggle your index fingers and shake your butt. '>.>

    But anyway, it certainly jolted me awake. The bands Daybreak and Resident Hero also performed and were almost as brilliant as FTM.

    Although, no one can compare to Darro (vocals of FTM) hanging from the pipes on the ceiling and flipping on them like he was on monkey bars, singing upside down and jumping on top of the speaker going utterly loco.

    It was teh sheeeet. I'm still a little sore though . . . >_o Damn moshpits. . . I seriously don't understand the purpose of a moshpit. Charging at random people and throwing punches at unsuspecting girls? Is it just me, or does that not make any sense?

    I was lucky I got out of there with only bruises.

    Two people tried crowd-surfing, but the security guards grabbed them off the top of the crowd in one fluid movement and dragged them backstage. :O

    I'm very surprised that there isn't a single AMV around featuring FTM . . . I shall have to remedy that . . . ;D

  • Don't steal my AMV beeyotch 2007-09-22 17:44:12 So I was browsing through YouTube and I found someone who uploaded my Scrapped Princess AMV. I was okay with it, as long as they didn't take credit for it-- which they didn't.

    I had posted a comment on it quite a while ago, thanking them for posting my video, and making it clear that I was the editor and everything was at peace.

    BUT. Recently, I was looking at the other comments, and there was a user who was arguing that I wasn't the creator, and that his friend made it or some other bullshit like that.

    I know this happens to AMV editors on a regular basis, but this is the first time something like this has really hit me.

    And I'm just royally pissed. I'm trying to remain calm and be understanding, but I just can't help but fume.

    I tried replying to his comment, trying to validate myself, but YouTube is being lame and it wouldn't post it.

    So the best I can do is just respond to my video with MY video ( if that makes any sense at all ).

    And I s'pose if the user who uploaded it in the first place doesn't accept my response, then I'll have to report them.

    Argh, this is so frusterating.

    It's incredibly hard for me to hold on to my passion for creating AMVs when I don't receive the credit for my work.

    What does an AMV editor have to do to get some credibility around here?!
