  • hokay 2005-08-08 15:49:19 Now time for a new entry, been a small while, Finished up my AMVs in time to send to Cons :) listed two of the three on the org and will by this weekend upload them. the last is in a "blind" contest and I think it best to keep it off the org until after, though I really want to share it ^_^!

the two are Wonka -vision and Operatic. So far both haven't made it to a contest but I did send them to AWA Expo.

    ciao for now
  • The force is strong... 2005-03-17 15:36:41 Sent lcx my huffy of my track in the Chevelle Project. ..

    Ok.

    Robots:

Have to say this movie was funny. I dont think i'v had a problem with Robin Williams in the comedic role. And in this movie I hear his witty and wacky self.

I wonder how much of it was improvised by Williams and how much was adherence to the script. I ask because some of the things he says "feels" off the cuff and very funny because of it.. the scenes with his detached head.. "..that face.. that foot... he's over there Moron!" Talking to his body facing the wrong way.

The subtle and not so subtle "star wars" references in this movie are quite nicely placed into the movie. The beginning holds a bit of a "space balls" take that makes a wonderful tie to the spoof of star wars. This movie does of course have the Star Wars ep III trailer and it looks and feels more dark than that of the first two.

There is a mention of "anime eyes" That made me chuckle. Seeing that a once miniscure hobby is becoming more and more open.

And it is nice to have Mel Brooks in this film and he brought a flair to the character that i liked.

If you havent seen this movie yet, I do recommend it.

    8/10 I give it

And to speak on the star wars : Revenge of the sith, I hear that George Lucas kept the pg13 rating and didnt want to pad it into a PG movie. Good for him, its his movie and if he wants to keep it the way it is, its his choice.
