  • YouTube Must Die 2007-06-15 18:10:34 Well, I haven't added a journal entry here for a long time mainly cuz i just do it whenever the hell i feel like it, but also I've been hovering around YouTube and talking to different sources and friends about something that is currently happening on YouTube. Apparently YouTube's maintanence people go in every night at 10 p.m. and delete by hand as many videos they can find related to ... you guessed it, ANIME >.<

    So, I've been working on a Protest video against this action. Currently I am trying to enlist the help of as many people I know online and in life as possible. I am looking for videos that are NOT anime, but feature anime in some way (such as an action figure on a shelf in the background, someone mentioning an anime series or the word "anime" in general, and/or videos that are not anime but blatantly show anime on their show). But i dont have many exapmles lined up yet. Anyone that can give me any ideas or possibilities or video suggestions, then their/your name/screen name gets added to the credits of people who helped.

    So far I have a bunch of statistics, one video, and plan on adding some comments that people have been putting on YouTube.

  • #14 2007-05-03 17:42:17 i'm currently working on my 14th amv
    im still not even sure what anime im going to use, but yeah, its just because my mom requested an amv for mother's day. unfortunately she didnt give me any specs or ideas for it, so I'll probably take several days just trying to think of concept, then a couple days putting it all together considering thats how i work. i usually only need 2 or 3 days to do an amv, except for that yugioh amv i made recently. that one took me 3 and a half hours and thats it. i wasnt even paying attention to time, but when i finished, i realized how long it had taken me. if only all amvs could be that easy to strip together. anyway, all i know thus far about #14 is that it will consist of at least 4 different anime and the song wasteland by 10 years. so, this one will definately take longer than justa couple days. oh well.

  • Updating 2007-04-01 21:29:25 Well, I highly doubt anyone reads this, but here it goes ...
    Thus far, I have just completed and uploaded my 9th AMV and, editorial wise, my first 5 AMVs sucked! But, from #6 to now (and from now on) I'll fix any glitches any AMVs might contain before uploading them to here and youtube

  • more AMVs 2007-02-26 09:15:18 im just churnin em out like ... i dont know a good analogy for that
    anyway, im pending on my 4th and 5th AMVs and they should be on this afternoon. im using a school computer right now and it doesnt let me upload onto kero

    my 2 newest AMVs are Fruits Basket "Bouncing off the Walls Again" by Sugarcult and another FMAMV to the song "Goodbye Earl" by the Dixie Chicks.
    I'm also working on getting them onto YouTube, but so far I've only gotten my Naruto AMV onto it with "Into the Ocean" by Blue October.

    i've also put the YouTube link onto my website so now many more people will be able to see my AMVs. YAY!! ::cheer::

    Anyway, i hope i get them loaded up reall soon, and please leave comments when you rate an AMV, so the creator knows how well they did or didnt so they know what to work on next time they make one.

  • put up with it 2007-02-24 11:02:05 i finally got it fixed. apparently it was just the computer i was using, so i switched computers and now it works fine.

    im working on putting all 3 of them on here right now, they should be up soon

    my first star rating for my first AMV: 2?
    i need more opinions, and if they dont like it, couldnt they try to put up with it? after all it is the first AMV i ever made, gimme some credit here.
