It's Christmas time!

I really don't have alot of plans for this day called Christmas. Just dinner tonight with my parents and thats about it. (Kinda of Sad.) -
Back to what really matters

Spent most of the day cleaning house, it's actually looking pretty good.
Still need to bag up all the leaves in the front yard, but I'll get to that sooner or later. ^_^ I start my new job January 3rd of 2005 so I'm free to do as I please until then! ^_^ ^-^ ^_^ My old job was not bad by any means but the amount of hours you were expected to work was the killer. For instance my last week there I clocked 72hours. After five years I can truefully say the hours are something I will not miss. Video editing is my escape. My new video is coming along well and has just been fun to work on. My WinXP box has so far proved itself to be stable and is running well. This is good since it contains all of my source footage on it's secondary hard drive. ^_^ Well I am doing my best to keep my mind off the loss and frustrations of the past and starting a new chapter in my life (new chapter.... jeez thats corny. ;_;) Oh well 2005 will bring a new job, new videos and hopefully good things all around.

Friday has come and gone

This weekend I hope to catch up on some editing been slacking off a little. Its still in its early stages but, I think the video will turn out well in the end. Studio 8 from Pinnacle has some nice effects that I can use, it just takes a little longer to prepare the footage. It seems to like uncompressed RGB the best so far. I tried to import clips encoded with Huffyuv but it caused an error. O_O....?? However if I import in the clips uncompressed and apply the effects, it will allow me to export under the Huffyuv codec. I don't understand it but at least it works.
I got my order from The Right Stuf in the mail today, so I have some new anime to watch.^_^ However that will have to wait until I get the front yard racked. ~_~ Maybe I can get my hands on a mulching mower and just chop them up instead.
***Note to self: Don't forget to set the clock back one hour Sunday. Although if I was to forget I could actually show up to work early for a change. Wait a minute......screw that idea! Just don't forget to VOTE ON TUESDAY. -
New project

I have decided to go ahead and start on my next project which is still in the footage capture stage. I think in the end it will be something like my "Desperate Soul" video just more fast paced. If I am able to accomplish all my ideas perhaps I can compete at a Con. I have never sent anything to a convention mainly because I don't like to be straped with a deadline on something that I consider my hobby. I guess I am affraid that I will grow to hate editing because I have to meet someones deadline. Perhaps testing the waters a few times will help to calm that fear.
I was capturing footage yesterday when my monitor gave out a load snap noise and went completely blank. It came right back on but would not display the color green (^_^....snap....O_O....dead monitor....>_<).
So after work I was off to price a new monitor. Well also decided to get a copy of Norton Ghost 9.0 and backup my Primary 80gig Hard Drive. I now have a nice 3.2gig image file of just that ^_^ ^-^ ^_^.
My friend Samuel broke up with his girlfriend saying that she was to demanding and wanted to be priority 1 in his life. So know he says she was a psycho or something. Well most time Samuel a girlfriend does'nt like to be considered number 2 in your life. Thats just how they if there are true feelings in the relationship. Myself, I would love to find a youg woman how does'nt mind my crappy work schedule.(^_^ I am not to hard to please ^_^)
I would like to find the Bittorrent file for the DDR project and help with the seeding if that is still going on. Not to mention I would like to have the whole thing to view. As for now I need to get the house cleaned up before Sunday afternoon, maybe I can manage to keep it clean this time. LOL
