  • Accomplished 2004-05-27 01:01:06 I decided to replace my CD burner because of all the trouble that I have been having burning things to disk. As long as I kept the amount of data to be "written" small like 100MB or less my Phillips burner seemed to work fine. However other times it would lock up the whole computer. I had been playing with different versions of Nero to see if it was a software problem but, nothing improved. So I bought a new Sony CD-RW (I figured Sony would be well supported) and that seemed to be the answer. I really don't understand why I had so many problems with my old Phillips 24X burner, it was only two years old. But, you gotta go with what works. I also fixed my Lexmark printer which would not print in color. Actually, it was not that difficult just needed to go though the whole process of setting up the ink cartridges again.

Work is going along OK, just need to work on keeping things organized. 3 Day weekend ahead ^_^
  • The week is over! "YES" ^-^ ^_^ ^-^ 2004-05-22 10:23:47 Friday kinda sucked at work mainly because I overslept >_< and showed up an hour late. But, they were cool about it since I had worked till 11:30PM on Thurs. Thankfully my friend Matt A. was willling to pich in and help me out, since he was gonna finish his job early anyway. I am not sure about my bosses, but the other techs I work with are definitely cool :D

I was thinking about a video idea for Witch Hunter Robin when I realized I had not even watched the last two DVD's I bought for the series. That got me thinking I never actually finished watching Chobits or Rahxephon 0_0. I have all the DVD's why did'nt I finish watching them? Now there always seems to be something else. For instance tring to get some more practice in A.E. or a video needs to be worked on before I totally forget what I was going for.(not to mention work in general!) When I first started watching anime it was Project Ako on VHS tape. When I got a new one the world had to stop because I had anime that needed viewing. I collect Anime because I enjoy setting back with some healthy snacks (don't get me started on the health kick thing) and watching the show. If a video idea come out of it then that is a bonus. Now I have to make time for things like that. I think it is time I put things in their proper perspective.
  • Sleep now 2004-05-18 00:06:37 Note to self: Staying up till 2am on a Sunday night to catch up on editing was not the best idea. Work today was difficult at best. I mean gheez, the salesmen really have a way of making things hard! All they have to do is sell the equipment and document the customers needs and what they want done. Yet they still seem to sell a square peg and expect me to install it in a round hole.Oh well, the new video is coming together slowly but surely. I have over a minute done and so I decided to bring in the scripts and render what I had so far. The .avi which was spit out by Premiere played fine for the most part but was missing some frames near the middle and it was missing one scene altogether. After some thinking about the problem I remembered someone on the forums talking to me about setting the memory max within my scripts to 10MB or more. So I added the line SetMemoryMax(10)
and like magic problem solved ^_^ I must remember to add that in if I am using more than four scripts in the same project.

    Goodnight!
