Temporary Retirement

I hate to do this but....
I'm announcing my retirement from AMVs. at least for a while. before you jump on me let me explain myself:
I am all out of inspiration. I have ideas for AMVs....but no inspiration. my very last bit of inspiration for an AMV was my Light x L AMV. now I have....nothing. I really just NEED a break from editing AMVs period.
I may still do Alternate Dimensions but even that I have no ideas for.
for me, AMVs stopped being fun once I switched programs. then they became more of a chore than something that I enjoyed. it's been happening for a while, but all the joy that I got from making AMVs have just been sucked out of me.
and I see people that i associate with on a daily basis just pass right by me in terms of skill while I'm stuck being mediocre at best. I shouldn't feel so bad even watching AMVs knowing that I will NEVER edit that good. AMVs should be fun, they shouldn't be making me feel so depressed but they are.
that's why I need to retire for a while. I will retire until I feel that AMVs can be fun for me again and I have some inspiration. until then I will be on a hiatus. I don't know when I will edit again, if I edit at all. I am done.
plus you think 73 vids are enough? (although I only count my most recent ones, which is about 5-6 and if I edited back then like I did now I would only have a couple of vids) I think it's time to face the facts and quit for a while
I'll still be around, I'm not quitting the org, I'm just quitting AMVs. If you need to here more you can PM me (if you even care) I'm done.
