22 and going
2007-02-05 01:21:45
okay, so i turned 22 recently
my brother organized my party just like last year at a Bar Club that he likes to frequent
i drank a CRAP load more than last year and on the car ride home, my friend and i couldn't stop cracking up and everything we said, it was hilarious... until i got out of the car
pretty sure i blew chunks like AT LEAST 4 times and was sick for a full day afterwards
so the math is something like
fun time = 2 hours
down time = 20 hours
... pretty sure i didn't intend to get THAT wasted, but all in all, drunkeness is NOT cool or fun or worth it, if you want to drink socially and get buzzed, i'm all for it, but stop before it gets worse than a buzz, geez
final count:
2 whiskeys
8 vodkas
9 mystery-liquor-filled-fruit-tasting test tubes that cost 3.50 each
having someone else pay for every bit of that... priceless

easy come, easy go
2006-03-27 12:27:33
i find it strange how no matter how much money i make at work (and a decent amount it is) i always find a way to be broke by the next paycheck
i used to work at a stocking job for Osco Drug and only making just over 100 bucks a week and that was enough, i had money for lunch, i had money to go out and i didn't have to worry about anything but my phone bill, car insurance and taking gf out sumwhere
now i work at a dealership making roughly 400 bucks a week and i'm STILL broke...
i don't go out with my friends any more than i used to, but maybe now we're going to more expensive places, i just recently turned 21, so the option of a bar is now open to us (though i suggest against it because of the SEVERE cost), but every now and then we buy sumtin to sip on at home
gas has gotten more expensive for me, i used to drive a lumina (standard 3.1L V6 sedan) but recently, my brother decided to get a new car, so instead of me finding another car (the lumina's on it's last legs, but still going strong) i "inherited" my brother's OLD car which was a 3.8L v6 Camaro
doesn't sound like a big difference but when i go to the gas pump almost TWICE as often as i used to, gas hurts, but the gas isn't the problem with the new car, it's the car payment, my old lumina was paid off, but since i switched cars, i have to now keep up with the monthly payment PLUS insurance, but i don't feel it to be much of a burden...
guess i'm just trying to sort things out in my head, i'll factor things later

Finding Neverland
2005-04-18 15:29:32
funny you should say that Finding Neverland was awesome Cj, cause i agree
...not that it's really funny... i was just saying... and now i'm shuddup-ing
i really wasn't expecting that kind of a movie at all, i can't find anything about it i don't like
only reason i saw it actually was cause gf drools over J.D. (so in turn i drool in jessica alba's general direction ^_^) but it turned out to be a good movie in the end

livin life... i guess
2005-03-15 23:20:59
my brother was able to put in 'good word' for me at Carmax with him, so i applied and got a call for an interview (basically filling out a background check survey type thing) and now tomorrow i'm going for the actual personal interview
i'm really hoping that i land this job, it's fulltime and pays a dollar more than i'm getting and that would take off soooo much stress that it's not even funny
my parents have about as much extra money as i do and i have to pay for car insurance... my car loan payment... recent and future car repairs... my cell phone... my rent (which thankfully isn't much)... and about a hundred dollars that i randomly owe
not to mention i want spending money to be able to go out with gf, i'm wondering if she's a workaholic as she is almost always working, and basically the most god-aweful shifts so i want to be able to show her a good time when i get time to see her and she doesn't have to sleep
it's really a god-send that both our parents are helping us out with the apartment, giving us furniture and appliances, i know that if it was just us on our own, we'd barely have anything in the place, but all we need right now are couches (sofa-beds to kill 2 birds with 1 stone)

flint's beta
2005-02-24 12:12:11
dude, that beta was awesome, i didn't want it to end where it did, but i'm sure you're trying to get it just right before you just slap a scene on there
i hope you finish this, the presentation in this is looking pretty good, definately doesn't have that same feel of 'another eva vid' so it's already on a good track
i like the use of text and other more subtle effects too, you're on your way my boy, you'll be head-honcho yet
and yes, the song rawks ^_<
