Solo Done

The techno solo is done! I completed 20 seconds today which probably took an hour or so. It was all routine timing for the vid. That's why it kind of went fast.
So now, I have 1:09 left on it before I can bring it in to AE and do some touch up stuff and I'll be done! That probably won't be till End of July or Beginning of August. -
Up and running again

Okay so after a week of battling Lyme Disease again and in between working and going to Maine to see some people, I have finally started to edit again.
I may have only worked on this for about an hour and a half today, but I actually got a lot farther than I normally have. Maybe because this part that I have been dreading was not as hard as I thought it would be and also because there aren't as many digital effects that are being used that I thought would be needed...truth is, I don't know where to put them because there's nothing that calls for it (except for a few spots).
Therefore, I'm 3:45:04 into the video/song out of 5:14. The last minute and a half is of him just repeating the same thing over again, so maybe that'll go well...maybe it'll be hard. It's just a different pace from the song, so I'm really not sure what to do there yet either.

No, I'm not at the end of the video. How sad :(
I'm at the point where I am ready to cram as much action into it as I can possibly think. NOw I'm not the most creative person when it comes to this, so this is going to be very very difficult. Even though this point at where I am in the music is the reason why I am doing the video to this song, I am not looking forward to trying to figure out what to do there.
Though some ideas are lined up as to what I can do, not everything is conceived.
Now I know last time I said I was here so it seems like I made no progress at all, but this time, I'm truly there with all the stuff that I needed to fix in the prior seconds done.
Hope this turns out well. Rocky III is back on. Time to watch -

The time has come for me to edit to the great techno piece where I'm going to try and cram as much action as possible into it. Hopefully I can do it. But before I do that, other things need to be polished out so I don't have to worry about them later.
I am starting to have doubts though. Have you ever created a video and thought that people aren't going to like it no matter how much effort you put into it?
Yeah I'm getting that feeling now. Hopefully that feeling will change when it all starts to take shape in After Effects. -
Past the Lyrics

Okay, so I edited another 10 seconds of footage today. I spent maybe an hour on it.
I'm almost at the part of the song that made me decide to do it to this song. Just about 20 more seconds and I'm there.
However I did pass the lyrics today...for awhile anyway. There's a huge techno solo bit in this song which I am at. This part will take me awhile to edit...not looking forward to it. I'm even more not looking forward to they lyrics afterwards because they're not going to be as "exciting" I guess one would say. But I am also looking forward to the next lyrics because:
1. It means I'm really close to finishing (before AE stuff that is)
2. It's going to be easier to edit
3. I'll be done with the techno solo thing.
Okay time to play some FFXI :)
