Just got back from a much needed trip to Golfland Arcade to play some DDR. Feet hurt like hell, but I needed to get out from in front of the computer screen.
First off - go get AbsoluteDestiny's new FLCL video. It 0wns j00. No really, I'm serious, it has filed papers with the government for ownership of your SOUL - it's that good.
Second, the quickie video is not going to be entered at AX... instead I'm gonna try and scrounge up another project after I finish my current one. I decided to finish the video I had put on hold, and it's actually turned out much better than I thought. Gotta say thanks to AD for the encouragement and comments - they've helped a lot.
Anyways, I wanna get this video done today so it's back to work. - Dekita 2002-05-26 20:58:25 OK so I finished the quickie thingy that I was doing that was so wrong. It's not quite as wrong as I thought it would be, but I still think it's a good video. I'm just not sure if AX will accept it or if the audience would even like it, so I'll probably not enter it there.I'm seriously considering just dropping the other video I'm working on right now come I'm not terribly happy with it. It's depressing not being able to make something how you want it to be. Ugh.

Oh dear lord, I just got an idea for the most horribly WRONG AMV I've ever done, except maybe my Fanime/Otakon video...
It's so horribly wrong that I'm putting my other projects on hold. It shouldn't take long, but it's oh-so-naughty. -

OK so today something really freaky happened. I took a shower and I was cleaning out my ear with a Q-tip like I usually do, when suddenly I could no longer hear out of my left ear.
I was freaked.
After trying some hydrogen peroxide in my ear (wow did that tickle) and that not helping, my friend drove me to the UCI medical center where I got my ears cleaned out. Turns out I shoved some stuff back there and it got stuck to the membrane. They told me not to use Q-tips anymore, and believe me, I won't.
But man - the stuff that came outta my ears... that's just NASTY shit. The chunk that was apparently blocking my left ear was about the size of the fingernail on my thumb.
Cool thing is now my hearing is much better since my ears are all nice and sparkly clean. 's' sounds are so much cooler sounding. ^_^ I had no idea what I was missing.
Then we continued with the planned activities for the night - the Tuesday run to Golfland Arcade to play DDR! 7th mix ahoy! About a week ago I managed to beat the Soul 6 Challenge course, and I did it again, as well as beating the Naoki Standard course for the first time. Of course now I'm freaking exhausted.
I didn't go to school today cause I felt like shit this morning, and then the ear thing happens after I get up and take a shower around 2pm... blah, what a wasted day.
