So I'm going through and watching all of Kevin Smith's films again while I play Ragnarok Online (the joys of having two computers) and I cried yet AGAIN while watching Chasing Amy, and it reminded me again of the origins of one of my personal favorite videos, We 3 - which I did to Marmalade Boy. We 3 was the ending theme of Chasing Amy which is where I heard the song originally...
If you only ever see one Kevin Smith film, make it Chasing Amy. It's truly a fantastic movie.
Nope, still no AMV work done. I think I'm gonna try and set myself a personal goal of getting 20 or 30 seconds done every day. Lets see if it actually happens (not likely).
Oh yea - ABBA rules. I dunno why but I've been going on an ABBACADABRA binge (they're these folks that did dance/trance remixes of their old songs) and this european group called the A-Teens who did covers of Abbas old songs in Eurodance. Great, great stuff.

Oh my god, this is so nostalgic.

So my Airsoft Walther P38 finally came in the mail today. Now if I get a black wig my Lupin costume is complete. Huzzah!
Been listening to lots of stuff off Dancemania albums... you know there's a version of "Mamboleo" with Spanish lyrics? Wacky.
Kusoyaro: I feel the same way about my DDR video... it's good for a good chunk and then just sorta peters out... I wish they hadn't added the extra verse to the song in the nonstop version.
AD: Sounds like when I was watching Initial D and I screamed "YES!!!" at the top of my lungs at 2:00AM during episode 26 of first stage. ^_^
EK: You think looking at that guy makes you depressed? Looking at you makes me realize what a pathetic artist I am, too. ^_^ Your stuff amazes me. BTW I owe you a free ErMaC Studios 2001 DVD since you designed my logo!

OK so I'm back from the dead, so-to-speak.
My video hosting is offline. Don't ask when it'll be up again because I don't know.
I guess I'm going to give up trying to write long journal entries and just start posting stuff when it comes to mind.
I'm playing way too much Ragnarok Online. AX deadline is just about a month away and I need to finish two videos for it. Oivay.
Also playing way too much Dance Dance Revolution. DDR 7th Mix is the BOMB!! Way better than 6th, since they brought back a buncha really great old songs and the new songs are pretty good (Tsugaru is just too cool, Re-Venge strikes again).
TommyRude is a prick.
Athena is very annoying in Capcom vs. SNK2, which is why I love playing as her.
Brad DeMoss is an unbelievably nice guy.
FanimeCon was fun, got a buncha cool stuff (original End of Evangelion and Revival of Evangelion movie posters!)
I'm done with fansubbing. No more, I'm too tired and worn out by it.
