Everyone it seems thinks they can just waltz into this computer lab and do whatever they want since there aren't any computer's occupied most of the time. But where do you draw the line? 'Cause if you get a million people who aren't supposed to be in the lab 'cause they're not taking classes in it then what do you do? So what if you know my boss? So what if you're a professor here? Don't just assume like you can walk in like you own the place, stupid crap.
I finished uploading my Cowboy Bebop video set to Aimee Mann's "Wise Up" and my EVA video set to track 8 of Phillip Glass' "Koyaanisquatsi" to Waldo's FTP Server. Only took about three tries each, I think NYU's stupid network makes uploading slower or maybe it's just because Waldo's getting lots of uploads. So hopefully people might be interested and take it upon themselves to go and see stuff I've uploaded there. Now that Waldo's is back open now people actually have the chance to see my stuff, we'll see what happens. -
NYU gives the SHAFT!

Just when I think things are cool they find another way to shaft me! To anyone who tried going to my Hotline server sorry, but NYU's network is set up so that people outside of NYU cannot access my hotline server! I guess it's the same thing that NYU put in to block Napster, even though Napster is barely used anymore.
So I have to resort to Waldo's server alone, damn that sucks. So very annoying, I think the same network setup might make my uploads slower too, fucking NYU. -

Wow, already have 79 hits on my videos total just from today since I changed them to indirect links. Earlier today I didn't think that I made it clear enough that I was linking to my Hotline server so I put the message a second time at the bottom of my description hoping that people would see it there for sure, but it looks like people don't. I'm starting to think that no one reads the descriptions or no one looks at the link when their cursor is over the link.
I guess no one was ever a really big Hotline user in the first place and since Waldo is changing his password again it might be even longer before there's any chance someone sees my video. Damn if getting webspace wasn't so annoying, though maybe that's partially because I'm not dedicated to fish around. -

As usual no one in the multimedia labs today, because if there's one constant in the universe it's that shit like "Glitter" always goes down in flames. Oh woops, did I change subject mid sentence? What I meant to say was that everyone always waits until the end of the semester to start their projects which is why I can spend this time reading or reviewing other AMVs, or watching movies on DVD. Mmmm, being paid for basically nothing.
Too bad I don't have an AMV concept right now otherwise I could conceivably be working on that. I want to make a Rei character profile video that's a bit more fitting than "I Think I'm a Clone Now" but what kind of song says sacrifice, inability to communicate, not understanding emotions and stuff like that? Hmmm. That's a real pickle, especially for someone who doesn't know too much about music.
Surprise surprise already four clicks on my videos after only about an hour or so, damn that was fast. Though everyone's interested in the Perfect Blue video, I wonder why? It seems that I've received most clicks on my Perfect Blue video, Melodies of Life and Liberi Fatali. I guess people like the obvious music choices? Who knows? (rhetorical question, don't need no smart ass remarks say "Ooh! Ooh! I know! I know!")
Oh well, maybe I should do some homework reading, I get the feeling that my friends think I'm a slacker, but that's partially justified this semester since I don't have a film production course. Whatever -
Mmmmm, desperation

In a desperate effort to see if anyone will download my videos I put indirect links to my Hotline server which should download faster than any website if anyone has the bandwidth. But how many people know how to use Hotline or still use Hotline? Well, if even one or two people download my videos then I suppose it'll be worthwhile. Though Waldo's FTP Server is back online so maybe people will go through there and leave me some OPINIONS!
At the very least maybe this'll be a test to see how many more people click on my links per day now that I have indirect links to where my videos (albeit annoying if you don't already have Hotline) though I doubt anyone will really go to the effort of doing any of that considering MySpace type crap would probably be less of a hassle. Oy, musings of an unknown AMV creator.
Bleah, got work at the computer lab in about twenty minutes.
