well, the little lady got an operation on her nose today, it should allow her far easier time breathing. I know get to work 18 hours between Saturday and Sunday before I can make the wonderful 8 hour drive to my parent's house for Thanksgiving break. Luckily, My Wonderswan Color should be here tomorrow...*shivers in anticipation*
Tracked down an emulator and the ROM for FF1 for WSC...just about wet myself. The graphics are just slightly better than the ones from FF6 (FF3 US), and they've completely revamped almost every part of the game. I look forward to gradually deciphering out every line of the game (it's in Japanese and I know just about as much Japanese (written) as I do Ancient Egyptian Hyroglyphs (exactly none (except that the little birdy-like one always meant someone was gonna die) -=^=- )
K...gotta go to sleep now....the little woman is drugged and feeling languid (WOOHOO!!) (look it up) -

Got new source footage available for anyone that wants to ask for it.
in DIVX 6MB/Sec Bitrate
Now available:
Princess Mononoke (in 5-minute segments)
Gladiator (in 5-minute segments)
Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' On Heaven's Door (ine one BIG piece)
and Trigun Episodes 1-7 (in 3-minute Segments)
the footage is segmented for ease of editing. I will be pulling these off my FTP in the near future (gotta open up some HD Space for more rips) but I'll have them backed-up on CD and can bring them back on request.
I'll be finishing off the Trigun series over the course of the next week.
Remember, these are DVD-Quality Rips and I'm giving them away to improve the overall quality of AMVs everywhere.

Man...I have no self-control.
I just went on eBay and bought a Wonderswan Color with FF1 for $95.
I'm sooo bad....I'm in trouble....I hope I can afford my cablemodem bill this month (damn college student income). and NOW I have to learn to read Japanese!
speaking on japanese...My fiancee is going to Japan as a Foriegn Exchange Student next summer and Fall. She can get me more games for my WSC...and some lovely DVDs of Anime :D
okay, I'm off to work on my program now...due tomorrow night....screw that, I'm gonna work on my Trigun DVD Rips. -

Okay, here's the deal:
Anyone that's interested in some high-quality (6000KB/Sec DIVX) DVD Rips of some Anime, drop me an e-mail.
I am currently going through the process of ripping my Anime DVD collection. I rip them, encode them, then slice them up into 3 minute segments (except for Princess Mononoke which is in 5 minute segments).
Anyone that is interested in some (free*) source footage can e-mail me and I'll give them a private login to my FTP server.
Currently Done:
Cowboy Bebop Movie (I know it isn't on DVD yet, so what?)
Princess Mononoke
Trigun Episode 1 (doing 2-4 tonight)
and Gladiator
I have the entire Trigun Series and it will all be available eventually. I also have the first 2 DVDs of Sorcerer Hunters, and I'll be getting to those eventually also.
I'm doing this mainly because I'm sick of seeing videos made with leached footage of a dozen different resolutions (it looks horrible),
and Also, I don't have any, nor will I have any DBZ. I own the Trunks Special but I'm not ripping it. There are too many DBZ Vids out there already. -

Man I hate it when my DHCP server in my router resets...it changes my IP for my FTP and I have to reset all my links.
Ah well...mebbe I can find a way that it won't reset so often.
