Unfortunately I don’t know how to reply in writing to your “high fives”. I do know what it means but I just can’t put it to words. I do read your journal. I’m glad to know that someone else also does serious self contemplation. I do that all the time but I just don’t write it down because they are such complex matters. Maybe I’ll start to write down some of my thoughts about myself (can you see that I’m having trouble finding the proper translation for this >_<) from now on.

Hmm… what else. This has been a true “flash back” day. The fact that I have to go and get mom from the hospital later today brings back a lot of painful memories. I’ve had my share of hospitals all though I’ve never been hospitalised myself. And doctors… I don’t thrust them. I’ll stop here before this evolves to a novel. -_-
I hadn’t realized before that my past experiences have scarred me this badly. I have to start dealing with my past. I’m not going to let it affect my life this much. And I have to pull myself together before I go to see mom. This is no good… too much emotions.
I wish that I would have realized to keep this kind of “diary”/journal few years back. Now I’m going to have to do it now and dig my memory. Don’t worry… I won’t do it here because that one’s going to be loooong. ^_^ -

I'm starting to get annoyed about my computer. It crashes about 3-6 times in a day and it's been doing that for a month or two now. -_- Venomi said that if I'm going to do any videos with this thing, I should save often or I'll end up losing many hours of work. After saying that he realized that my compy usually crashes before I reach even one hour... Ironically my computer has better hardware than most people here have, but it's so unstable. I'm not nerdy enough to fix it myself. I've tried all sort of things but I just don't know what's wrong with it.
Because it crashes so often I'm very grateful that I switched to using Trillian. That way I only have to sign in once and I have access to my ICQ, AIM, IRC and MSN. I just changed my email address yesterday to Pesky_Lupus@hotmail.com and I got MSN with that name. ^_^ If it was up to me I would only use ICQ because it's the best IMO but since many people here use AIM I got that one and then I got IRC to chat with my studio and now I have MSN so that umm... well I'm flexible and chatting with people is fun. Seriously though Trillian is a life saver for me. I love it.
I won't be online today because I procrastinated yesterday and didn't study. Instead I ripped about ten albums without the help of CDDB if I might add. I also sorted out my Winamp play list. Now I have 2035 mp3's of which I must have ripped over the years myself about 1000 without the help of CDDB most of the time. Lots of typing. >_< I still have few albums to rip but because they have various artists in them I'm not going to do it until I get CDDB to work.
My mom is going to have a surgery tomorrow. They're going to operate her right wrist's nerve's. I have to go and get her after the surgery because she's going to be too drugged to get home on her own. After that she's going to have two or three weeks of sic leave and she's not allowed to even cut bread with that hand for a while. Well my little brother's and sister's summer vacation just started so it's up to them to take care of her since I'll be at work.
I wasn't even going to turn on my computer today but my sister started to watch Excel Saga and you know how noisy Excel is... I can't concentrate in this noise so I'll go two stairs down and into our sauna to study. It should be quiet there. I'm just hoping that it's not too hot. BTW I would so love to watch Excel Saga with her but I can't. :(

Size does matter

When talking about AMV's size varies quite a lot sometimes. I just download a video that was 1,8KB "big". There's nothing wrong with small AMV's. I've seen many that are quite good all though they only last for less than half a minute. But this one was just wrong. The actual video footage ended after 30 seconds but the music continued until the end (4:15). There was a black screen for almost four minutes. I even left a review for that video... almost all scored 1. Worst score that I've ever given anybody. Than one lovered my "average given" score. I hate to bring people down like this but it was just wrong. They should cut the song to where the video footage ends. Or is it a joke that I'm taking too seriously? I don't know.
On the other end of the scale are for examble the high quality versions of Venom's videos that are about 100-200KB. He has lower quality versions hosted too for us people who don't have fast enough connections to download huge videos.

Dreams

Reading Kevin's journal reminded me that my little sister told me that she had a dream about AMV's last night. She's 14 and doesn't know anything about editing. In her dream she had to make an AMV to save the world. She was having trouble and she rang me and asked for help. I explained to her that she had to click there and there to make it work. My advice fixed the problem and she completed the AMV. The world was saved.
She was quite amazed at her own dream when she woke up. It's a nice dream still. I'm going to bed now (11 pm and I'm tired). I hope that I have nice dreams. AMV dreams would do nicely thank you. =P Just no nightmares and I'll be happy.
