  • "The system has recovered from a serious error" 2003-05-01 08:19:09 My computer just crashed for the second time today. yesterday it crashed three times and the day before that... I'll reinstall my Windows now. Starting my transfers from scratch for the third time today is getting on my nerves.

    I'm afraid to write any more incase it crashes again. This is my third try to make journal entry. This time I'll make it. >_< So laters.

    *tears the org and own stupidness to shreds* Why didn't anybody tell me that the profile picture isn't off site linked?!? Grhgurklegrkplurgraa! Well *sigh* you live and learn. I'm majorly pissed off at my own stupidness now. -_- It's been freaking three months and now I find out.

    OMNISTARA: I now have all of Omni's (or 2JA's what ever he wants to be called) videos. All I can say is hentai... cute... ecchi... OMG these are good. >_< He makes me want to go and watch those hentai series. And that's a big compliment coming from me.

    First I was all "What only four on local!". I downloaded those and because they were good I got Bittorrent (sp?) and downloaded all the others that he has available. After I saw those I understood why they aren't on local. >_<

    It's 4 am here so that would explain why my brain seems to be asleep already. And once again I would like to know what's the big rush with creating my own videos? I wish people would stop pressuring me. PERIOD.

  • The first of May 2003-04-30 04:37:24 Warning: This entry just oozes happiness and hyperness (is that a word?). You have been warned. lol

    XP …The first of May is tomorrow. I know that. It’s just that we celebrate it today. ^_^ I don’t know how important celebration this is to the rest of the world but on my end it’s one big party. Lots of people go to Helsinki. Get really really drunk and have a blast. It’s like a carnival on the streets. It’s crazy and it can get a pit dangerous so I usually don’t go.

    Me and my family and friends have a party at home. Whee! I’ll get a chance to show videos to my friends. Seriously you people should pay me for all the advertisement that I do trying to get people into anime and AMVs. lol

    I’m still super happy, hyper, pesky (well not really… I just like the word pesky >_<) from yesterday and life in general. I’m sorry for all the people that are depressed. *sends packets of happiness to de-pressed people* >_< It’s the thought that counts, right? Maybe this is some sort of karma thing since last year at this time was living hell. I know that karma doesn’t mean exactly that, but… What ever. ^_^

    I’m listening to my Lupu’s Secret AMV Ideas CD. >_<m/ I have my own video showing going on in my head. lol Just listening to the music/s inspires me. I wish I had time to make my ideas a reality. I’m still waiting for my DVD to arrive. It left from Belgium yesterday so it shouldn’t take so long anymore.

    I have about four ideas… no make it five, that I consider to be original as in the song hasn’t been used before and/or the anime hasn’t been used before and/or the actual idea is just so crazy, that nobody has dared to do it before (at least to my knowledge). Few of those would require working on animes that I don’t even enjoy watching as in women being raped kind of thing. The ideas just scream to be made reality. Ha ha Believe it when you see it. ^_^

    Can my AMV fever get any worse? It probably can. XD

    I had totally forgotten the reason that I wanted my ftp site back online again. The profile picture! I can put it online now. Something like a month ago I made about five pictures for it. I’ll just have to decide which to use. I’ll try to remember this when I get home from work. And they aren’t pictures of me. Sorry. All though I do have one decent picture of me (it’s not online)… Maybe later on. =P

    Oh and I didn't get sick after all. It was just yesterday morning. I feel fine now. ^_^ 
  • Videos and personal matters (well not too personal) lol 2003-04-29 14:03:35 I usually try to stick to just one journal entry in a day, but I just have to mention (lol what an understatement) few things. So lets start with the AMV related stuff. ^_^

    I watched MexicanJunior's Sweet Empathy video and it was very touching. I don't know what else to say. I think that it was brave of him to publish it since it's so personal. Here's the link:

    Hakura's videos are now a part of my collection. Her latest video Haibane Renmei - Blue Flow was well... quite interesting. I loved the music (again). I'm suck a sucker for that sort of music. Also the anime (Haibane Renmei ) seemed interesting. Eden ? Remastered is still my favourite of hers.

    And the last... Rubyeye has released his latest video Phenomenon!!! Finally. I've been waiting for this one. It's still downloading but since I'm sure that it's great I'll give the link in advance. XP So here it is:

    Todays news of my personal life: I'm not too late for applying to colleges (actually it's just one ^_^). Yeah! I was so sure that I had missed the deadline already, but no. =D I have plenty of time. Oh I'm so happy. And I actually found some lines/studies that seemed interesting.

    One of those being English philology. Lol I don't even quite understand what philology means, but I should have some change on getting in there so... and it's English ^_~ Also Classical languages (Latin) seemed interesting. I should be able to get in there also, if I just study the assigned books. I'm just not so interested in Latin as I used to be.

    And also Music science (I'm not sure of the translation) would also be a good plan B. I should be able to get in there with ease. The bad part being that I hate music theory which is part of the studies. >_<

    And last but definitely not least is... The Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa. It gets better. ^_^ Research of Japan (bad translation) is part of this. This basically means that if (and it 's a big if) I get in there I could study Japanese language and Culture! *bursts with joy* I've been wanting to study Japanese for the past year and a half (way before I saw my first anime). ^_^

    I'm so excited about this. =D Japanese language and culture. Ahh... And there are two books that you have to study for the entrance exam. One of them being Lévi-Strauss which I'm familiar with from little adventure in cultural anthropology. Maybe my hard work in there might pay off now. ^_^

    It's so strange that all of this happened today. I wonder if my dad had something to do with it. If he did, thanks. ^_^ Exactly a year ago from today was the second worst day of my life. Try to imagine your worst nightmare. I lived through mine in-real-life. Well that's enough of my problems. You'll hear more of them in few months. ^_^ Something to look forward to. lol

    Oh and I'm still looking for the Information High video. 
  • Do you know the video Information High? 2003-04-29 03:12:12 I have a serious AMV related problem. I can’t find this video, that I would like to put in my Top 10 video list, anywhere. I spent a lot of time searching the database for this video yesterday to no avail. This video was deleted from my collection in the big accident so I would like to have it again. It was one of my all time favourites. Here is the info as I remember it:
    Title: Information High
    Anime: Macross Plus
    Artist: ?
    Song: Information High? (some sort of dance/techno song that was over 6 minutes long)
    Studio: Maboroshi Studios? (it’s not listed in his profile and his site has been down for ages)

    If someone knows this video, please tell me. You can find my contact info in the bottom of my profile. I would greatly appreciate any kind of information. I’m getting desperate so I’ll go and ask in the forums, if I don’t find this video in the near future.

    Ice hockey’s world championship games are being held in Finland this year. It’s basically one of the few sports that I watch every year a pit. Yesterday Finland won Slovakia 12-0. lol Tomorrow we’re against Czech. That’s going to be tougher. Finland won the championship in 1995. After that we’ve lost to Czech in the finals for many years in a row. Winning the championship is always so close. >_< Maybe this year…

    Canada is pretty good in ice hockey. The same can’t be said for the USA. *dodges incoming flames* Sweden’s also tough and Russia of course. Hopefully I’ll have time to watch the games this year also. Actually going to the arena to see the games could also be possible in theory. It just costs so much.

    I think that I’m sick. I have a cough and I’m really tired and probably have a low fever as well. Just my luck to get sick right before my one-day vacation, which is on Thursday. =(

    Or maybe this is my body’s way to avoid rehearsing for the music theory exam. I have to practice by singing since I don’t have a piano at home and I can’t do that if I lose my voice. I have a sneaky body. >_< I’m the master of procrastinating. lol

    What has happened to the Journal Buddies list? It looks horrible. It’s like three screens long (at least mine is). *tears at hear* Why oh why is it like that? ;_; I hope that it’s only temporary.

    Oh and before I forget… I now have all of SpPANDA’s videos that are available and now I moved to Hakura from Otaku Productions. I already have her latest videos. I just need to get the early Dragon-ball Z and Final Fantasy videos from my favourite female creator. ^_^ I hope that she gets better (she’s sick also).

    Do I write long journal entries? ^_^; I guess I do compared to what people normally write and I write every day. If you only knew how much I always leave out… Then my entries would be long. These are short or medium length. lol
