I'm bad at taking compliments.
So, deserved or not I'm getting some props for "Children of Daicon". Two different guys have told me that "I have an eye" or something to that sort and I have talent,etc...
Now...thats nice and all, but I feel that I cant be too thankful of such comments because well, dammit i've only been doing this seriously for about a year and I haven't really done anything special by my standards. I dunno. Maybe I should be thankful that people are noticing what i'm doing. But I know I have a loooooooooooooooong way to go. Way too long before I can be considered good.
Maybe I just have self esteem issues. Thats probably it. Nothing a hug and some happy pills won't fix.

The rough cut is almost done, just gotta fill in some gaps. School is making it hard to work on this thing properly. I thought I had a chance to submit for AWA EXPO. Nah, forget it. I'd have to have 20 days off to have a chance and thats not happening. Oh well. Goddamn art style I wanna do for this thing may cause it's downfall. Frustration city. Need more prozac.

Back to the Lab

You know, I was supposed to be hard at work making a new vid like, a month ago, but, being a hardcore bandwagon Laker fan (Cuz ALL laker fans are teh bandwagon fans right?) I got caught up, like I always do, and nothing gets accomplished. I'm even worse after losses. Regular season games I can get something done. Playoffs? Forget it. I'm glued to the TV for the duration of them games, editing ( or just life itself) be damned.
But, that's all over now. Hell, AX is over now. So, to the Bat cave we go.
Vid Progress: Planning.
I wanted to submit something new for AWA, but I doubt i'll get this vid done in time for the Expo deadline. At the same time, I want to give some lee way to the vid since I wanna try something I've been wanting to do. Gotta give these things time. Cant rush'em. Also, I wanna refine the process in which I create AMVs. My last vid had parts that were less than stellar due to poor planning and I wanna figure out better ways where I can best execute my silly little visions.
