  • Obligatory LOTR Movie Comment (No spoilers) 2001-12-22 06:26:17
    Since my opinion is possibly considered lesser or irrelevant, I will keep it short.

    Watching this movie makes me glad I have forgotten about most of the book since the first and last time I read them was about 15 years ago. It's a visual extravaganza and despite people complaining about how it is altered from the books, the movie works in its own accord and those who've never read the books won't be lost or anything.

    I now understand what people mean when they say 'Agent Elrond' Exchange Hugo Weaving's lines from 'The Matrix' into LOTR and they seem to fit in some weird way. :D

    Haven't actually downloaded anything from there to decide whether I've been ripped off or not. When you're on a 56k, the urge to download big files gets much, much, much reduced. :P 
  • Cryptic Video Ideas 2001-12-07 10:28:26
    Ever had those days where your head is filled with music video ideas and then not have the means to make them? Well today is one of those days. A couple of WoH and a video idea for Berserk is cramming my head.

    'Fraid it's pointless to actually detail them since hardly anyone really understands what another person's video ideas are in the first place. That's usually the case for me.

    Besides I don't make 'real' anime music videos so I suppose I don't belong in the 'clique' or real creators. What's the point. :P 
  • Lake Woebegone Days 2001-12-03 10:56:18 MCWagner: Ah you reminded me of something I missed back in the college days in northern Minnesota. Being from Asia and all it's kind of hard to get used to the humour of that show but eventually I grew to enjoy it for whatever weird reasons my mind mustered. Maybe if you spend a few years in that kind of weather it changes your perception of things, including humour.
