I thought it was fairly obvious that Fay-Sa's situation has rather little in common with mine.

If anyone cares, the person who owns the account "BestAMVzOfAllTime1" is Org user AceD ( http://www.a-m-v.org/user/AceD ); incidentally, he also owns the account I had my own problems with.
@Pwolf 2011-09-15 19:00:54 In my specific case, it's that the duplicate was coming up on YouTube searches and my own video wasn't (the search engine treated it as a duplicate and didn't show it unless you "[reran] the search with the omitted results included".

So anyone who saw my video at Otakon and went looking for it found the duplicate and not my own version that had been up for over a week prior. I found it to be an incredibly frustrating experience.
