Well, I'm not dead. I'm, get this... *half dead*. Yeah. Definately.
Seriously, I've been uber busy. Turns out you can't fsck around in college. I mean, you *can* fsck around, but only if you're *literally* fscking around. In other words, it's moderately okay to get drunk and have sex indiscriminately with lots of people, it's just not okay to spend every waking moment editing. Heh. Who knew? Also, Adobe After Effects isn't working right (and uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't fix it) so I'm a little discouraged. See, the next segment utterly depends on AE working. It's hard, it's time-consuming, and it's not nearly as fun as lip-syncing. But I have to do it, because ADV Hell wont be complete without it...
On the bright side, I received some great advice with godix, and I'm going ahead with that. We may actually have FLCL footage in the video after all! Oh, joy! Joyous joy! And I'm snatching up banana footage like there's no tomorrow. (Turns out, there *is* no tomorrow. D'oh!)
So, yes... I still exist, I'm just quiet. It will easily be another month 'til I finish this video, and that's assuming I manage to make my Adobe products stick around that long. *whimper* Don't leave me mid-project, Premier! I love you!
Oh, and there's an anime club meeting Sunday. Maybe I'll finally find friends that don't ditch me to go get drunk... and not bring back any beer for *me*. Leaving me alone in my dorm while the guy across the hall literally has sex with his girlfriend right there in the hall, presumably wasted. While I watch Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro for the fscking eighth time, without a damned drop of alcohol in my bloodstream. Fscking bastards, all of them.
