HOLY SHIT!!!! Where was I?

Hey everyone, I know I haven't been around for a while.
Actually, I've been here. Just sitting on my computer discovering ALL sorts of things I can do to and with it. Currently learning C++ :). I'm also taken an interest in learning Maya, and using After Effects. Being a software Engineering Major rocks.
I'm also applying what i'm learning in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and even Maya to my AMVs. In fact I'm approximately 70% done on my current AMV.
This AMV had one goal; To force me to learn as much as I could do with Premiere, After effects, and Photoshop. Already the video looks much better than my previous videos. utimately thats my opinion but hopefully the general audience will agree.
This video solidified my style in editing and got me to learn most of the effects in premiere and just begun on Photoshop and AE. At every turn in the vid I wanted to try something completely different. I also made it work as a timeline.
My style and effects changes as the video progressed in an attempt to show contrast from now since the failed Pilk's project that never allow me to show my 4 seconds of stardom.
So as the video goes on, it shows how my knowledge and skills improved ever since the beginning back in October 2006, just after AWA where I met ever one.
just with the part thats done, it makes a good light show in a dark room. and thats always good. I hope to have this Video completed and bestowed upon the public within the month :)
I just had to rant tonight and tell myself out loud that "I am accomplishing something totally useless." I'm still in the AMV realm and I'm working hard to make better videos (especially since my last one).
to those of you who want to keep their good feelings and respect for me (if any), then stop reading....
To those of you that will complain that i'm speaking all high and mighty (especially you tardo, saying my vids are crap) I just have one thing to say....
