So after finishing my Legend of Basara video (comments and criticisms welcome!), I'm almost immediately running off to another project! My Outlaw Star DVDs came in the mail, so I'm rewatching the show to figure out what clips to use. It's been a while since I've seen the series... But it'll be fun. ;) This video will probably be a major headache (effects up the wazoo! Which is unusual for me, but...). Still, it should be pretty cool.
The main purpose of this entry, though, is for all those Final Fantasy VII fangirls out there. I got bored the other day, so I created a Sephiroth wallpaper... Sephiroth like you have *never* seen him before.

I finally finished playing Final Fantasy IX last night. Cute game, but I still find it hard to take seriously since all the characters look like ten-year olds. I did get a kick out of all the references to the previous FFs, though. My roommate and I were cracking up at Yoda's - oops, I mean *Necron's* speech about hate, anger, suffering blah blah blah. And Necron looked pretty close to how I imagine Zeromus would look in 3D. *sigh* Now if only I owned a PS2 so I could play FFX. I think there's some sort of conspiracy against me - *everywhere* I go I see FFX promos. arrrrgh! I was eating dinner at TGI Friday's one night with a friend, and on the TVs an FFX commercial comes on. I can't escape it! But on the plus side, my birthday is at the end of the month. Hehehe, I can justify splurging so much money if it's my bday... right? ;)
Besides, it's not like I don't have enough *other* games to beat. Xenogears is very compelling so far, I love Vagrant Story to death, not mention all the *other* games I received for Xmas. So, I'll be happily occupied for a while. ;)
Aaaaaand.... my Basara video is DONE! Woohoo! *does a ghetto victory dance* I'm playing with compression now to try to get it under 50 MB. It'll probably be posted this weekend. And hopefully I'll get my Outlaw Star DVDs in the mail *soon* so I can finally work on that video. ;)
How funky is this? I don't have a car, so I'm thinking of getting a Vespa. Yep, a putt-putt vehicle - lol. So if anyone here has one, or any type of scooter or moped for that matter, drop me an email please? I'd like to know how other people like them.
Guess that's it of interest for now. Hmm, I wonder if it's too late to walk to the grocery store...?

I'm thisclose to finishing the Basara vid.
But I need a clip, and I don't have access to the tapes. ::grumbles about people who borrow tapes and don't return them::
So, if you have access to the creditless version of the Basara opening and wouldn't mind capturing a 5-second clip for me, PLEASE email me. I'm getting desperate. ^^;

AMO Tokyo folks are so nice!
They let me order the Legend of Basara DVDs, even though the deadline was Jan. 18th. So I ordered them and should get them anytime between 3-15 days. I think I'll just wait to release my music vid until I can get DVD captures AND avoid subtitles. PLUS they only charged me $5 on shipping (a special deal they have until Feb. 15).
