This is a rant in response to DanceDance_Revolutionary's post.
I won't contest your choices in anime. To each his/her own, I say. But I was particularly offended by your post about Sailor Moon and all good-looking females being scanks by the age of 15. Perhaps that's been your experience - just as it's been my experience over the past few months that all good-looking males I meet are either gay or assholes - but *surprise!* your little world is not the be-all and end-all of existence. And personally I would hate to close my mind off that much.
I grew up in the suburbs, which is vastly different from the inner city, but I did live in some pretty shitty suburbs as well. I know that in my case, I was not a ho or a selfish bitch by the age of 15. For a 15-yr old, I wasn't bad looking, and neither were my friends. Just because someone has a nice body or looks good doesn't mean that's the number one thing they care about. So some of my friends at the age of 15 were fooling around with guys, but so what? Only guys are allowed to fool around? I hate double standards like that. One of my friends was really good-looking, and she was such a caring person that we joked she should be proclaimed a saint. Another one of my friends is a die-hard environmentalist. And I know that I would crawl over hot coals to defend/protect any of the people I care about (and I am NOT exaggerating). To stereotype someone because of their looks and/or gender is just stupid and will eventually bite you in the ass one day. I've known some pretty ugly people who were utterly cruel for no reason. I've known some gorgeous people who almost sickened me with how selfless and caring they are.
I'm sorry you have such a bitter view of life. It's still your own choice though, and maybe if you opened your mind a bit more you'd see that life and people are a lot better than you think. -

knghtbrd and all you other people who got to see the Leonids - you suck! :p It was completely cloudy here, and so foggy I literally couldn't see the house across the street. It was supposed to be a *storm* this year too!

It's done! The fall layout of our wallpaper site is *finally* done. I'm pretty happy with it, too. The bonfire looks horrible, but it was the best I could do with my meager skills. And every time I see the picture of Schuldig (from Weiss Kreuz) at a Thanksgiving dinner I snicker uncontrollably.
So, if you're looking for some wallpapers, check it out. Ours aren't anywhere near the quality of EK's, but we do have a pretty good variety of wallpapers. ;)
