Pissed

Alright, so I live in an apartment with three other guys. At the beginning of the year we ordered cable for our TV, and divided between us it's something like $14-$15 per person per month. The thing is, though, after two months of living here I've barely used the cable. At all. And neither has my one roommate, Darrin, the one I share a room with. We just don't watch TV - the only time we ever use it is for The Office on Thursday nights, and that's on a channel we could be getting for free with an antenna.
Not only this, but our one roommate, Andrew, who owns the TV and DVD player in the living room, is always in front of the TV doing something - playing his Xbox 360 or watching a movie or the TV itself. I'm not even really exaggerating that much - he spends probably a good five hours a day (when he's not in class or sleeping) doing shit in front of the TV, so a lot of the time, Darrin and I don't even have a chance to watch it.
So our thinking is that we shouldn't have to pay for something we don't even use. I mean, the cost is pretty negligible - $15 a month is nothing, that's not the issue. It's one of those "it's the principle of the thing" things, and if Andrew's going to monopolize the living room then he should have to pay for most of it.
The problem is, he gets really pissy when it comes to stuff like this. He's really posessive, and if we tell him we don't want to pay for the cable, I just know he's going to start saying we can't use his TV at ALL, even for video games, or for watching basic stations we'd get without cable. I also fear this would cause a kind of 'split' in the apartment for lack of a better term...I'm pretty sure my OTHER roommate, Dane, wouldn't really care that much - he's pretty neutral when it comes to anything in the apartment. But Darrin and I already alienate ourselves enough as it is - we both like to spend the majority of our time in our room, on our computers or studying. This would just cause all sorts of problems that I don't want to deal with.
...But I'm pissed at Andrew right now because of his possessiveness alrrady. He got Guitar Hero 3 on Sunday, and he hasn't let me or Darrin play, at all, until he beats it. Forget Dane, though, who's been playing almost as much as Andrew - it's just me and Darrin who can't. It's bullshit. I can understand him not letting us make our own bands until he beats the single-player mode himself, but I just want to Quick Play some songs - no. It's ridiculous and I'm getting tired of him acting like he owns the whole fucking apartment and getting to dictate what we can and can't do. Sure, a lot of it IS his stuff, but we all live together and it's retarded that he puts so many conditions on how his shit can and can't be used.
If that's how he wants to act, fine he can pay the whole fucking cable bill.

I'm so close to being on the Top 50 most useful opinion-givers list (and legitimately, too) that it's sickening ;_;
