  • Good Lord... 2007-08-08 07:18:33 Today has got to be one of the most depressing days of my life.....
    I was in batch 1....and apparently we had our chem practs first-thing-in-the-morning.
    It was pretty ok....though I have a feeling I messed up viva....a bit.

    THEN, as soon as we came back to class....my friend comes to me and goes-"Eh ..Cara?...You have your Physics practical right now. You have to go to the lab. Good luck." <symphatetic look>.

    I had thought it was after the break. Seriously. this was pure injustice. The first batch had two practs in a row......while the second batch has just one after break.

    How unfair.

    Then I realised ....that my physics file was tearing. Oh my god.
    We have a LOT of writing to do in Physics (theory, observations, results, precautions) and so I started writing first., finished the theory and started the practical.
    That's when I realised I didn't have my eraser.
    I panicked of course. (we were doing a refraction experiment)

    Then my angles of incidence were not equal to my angles of emergence. (in two out of three obs.)

    Then we had to find the refractive index of the glass slab. i hope my division's correct.
    At the end of it when I gave my paper up.....my teacher asks me- "You were quite flustered during the practcal...weren't you?"
    "Flustered"???? I almost had a nervous breakdown!!!!!! (haha...it wasn't thaaaat bad...)
    "You should keep calm...and take a deep breath..."yada...yada.


    [While the 2nd batch went for their chem practs in the 5th and 6th period...I was feeling so. Thoroughly. BORED.]

    Then after that...SST. According to my teacher we should have written this...and that....and in short we did pretty pathetically. (How encouraging..no?)

    Next..Maths. she came and discussed most of the paper....and by the looks of it...I'm losing at least 1 mk in almost every question. This is NOT good. [Cara is sad ;_;]

    All in all...today hasn't been a very good day...i made a pretty nice banner though. ^^







     
  • sob sob 2007-08-07 03:42:37 Today was science. TODAY was supposed to mark the end of my exams (the first term exams anyway...) and I was looking forward to going to my friends house for a sleepover.
    But no.
    All my hopes were drowned in the pacific ocean when there was an announcement made in the class "Batch no. 1 will have their Physics and chemistry practicals tomorrow...Batch 2 will have chem".
    Im in batch 1 i.e my roll no. comes between 1 and 25 (I'm 7 btw).

    How sad.
    Instead of being free....I'm going to have to study.....and study...and study.
    [because we have a LOT in theory esp. phy.]

    *drowns in a flood of tears*

  • Hey all. 2007-08-02 11:48:12 Well, hello Org!!
    I haven't been writing in my journal lately....(I wonder what's happened to me???)
    I had Social Science today...(includes Geography, History, Civics, Economics and Disaster Management...). It went pretty well ^^
    I finished way under the time limit and looked sround...and what did I see? I saw everyone bent over their answer sheets writing furiously. I really thought something was wrong with me at that point. o_o.
    Anyway...overall...it was good *thumbs up*

    It was raining quite heavily in the morning today. actually, it was pouring. Seriously. The immediate area around my school was flooded and everyone thought that the exams would be postponed or something.
    Nothing of the sort happened of course. They just started 1/2 an hour late, that's all. I felt it was better this way....at least sst is now done and over with.....for this term anyway.

    As I mentioned earlier it was raining in the morning...and I was a bit late so my father decided to drop my brother and me in the car...but some idiot had parked the car right behind ours and another somebody had parked in front.
    Even in the seriousnesss os the situation (I had an exam after all) I had this great urgent desire to laugh. I didn't dare to though.

    Anyway...turned out that the bus was still waiting for me. My good luck. (and I'm NOT being sarcastic...)

    So ..yea...that's all for now.
    Gotta get back to banner-making. *wink*
