Finally!
2008-10-22 07:44:14
Finally I post a new entry in my AMV.org journal.
Ofcourse thats not the reason I am making the post :P
I finally got around making the 4 entries for the AMV's I made in 2004 and 2005.
Miracalously enough, I recently found out I still had the project files, which is good news since I lost the video's themselves in a HD crash. The last changed info from the project files gave me insight in the date I released them.
During that time I was still in my n00b-fase and got my songs and anime from Kazaa, so I must look at Limewire or something if I can reget them. This means I will upload the vids themselves also, when I reget the footage. I only used Kazaa for the footage of my first AMV, but I did use it for all songs. The Gundam AMV had the ASS-sub as footage and the Narutard footage shouldn't be to hard to reget.
I thing remains, I also made some incompleted beta's, I am still thinking about this, I could combine them and release them as one, just like I did with the Mahou Da Anime Convention Intro.
Anyways, I am hoping to become more active on the journal, but the problem is that I want serious posts in my journal and not random thoughts(I have IM for that).
Till the next post ;)

Undecisiveness returns, for the intro this time.
2008-03-17 05:36:09
I also decided to remove the intro info this time. The intro song Where were you last Night (cover) from Nightwish and the intro exclusive anime: Erementar Gerad, Rockman.EXE Beast and Tales of Eternia.
Ofcourse they are mentioned in the credits, so that people can look up which anime I used, if they should like it and want to check it out.
Luckily the mistakes I made are startup problems that only happen the first time since I think I'm pissing off the admins and mods of AMV.org.
LOL @ 3 journal posts within 1 day.
Till the next post ;)

Second thoughts about including Ryusei Sentai Musumet
2008-03-17 05:11:41
After having thought about it a bit, I decided that Ryusei Sentai Musumet isn't a part of the AMV itself. So I requested removal of it. Instead I included the 3 credits songs and Musumet to the comment of the video.
From this moment on I will always do it like this. The credits songs and closing anime will be included in the video itself. But I will use the "(credits)" marker after it to show its not part of the AMV itself. Same goes for the opening video in the upcoming vids. But in the Convention intro my test intro was part of the AMV, to show the kind of intro I would use from now on, making it a part of the AMV and thus in need of mentioning.
Till the next post ;)

ZOMG, my first journal post
2008-03-16 13:00:35
So yea, the first journal post a mine.
There are multiple things causing this, so lets start the reasons listing.
1:
The first MEP of my AMV group, Eternal Genesis Productions is near and since I started the group it would be good for me to start the journal. Its a MEP with the song Heroes from the awesome German band Masterplan. It has most major members in it, including a track of myself.
2:
I posted my first vid to my AMV.org account. And damn, I made alot of mistakes when I did this post. I added a song title thats wrong, I added the 3 songs used for the credits and I added spoilers to a series it didn't contain spoilers from. And last but not least, I also added a wrong series name. I did add the series of the clip used as after credits, cuz I want to promote the awesomenes of Ryusei Sentai Musumet.
3:
I'm going to majorly improve my AMV skills now and well, this is basically the start of a new era in my AMV'ing. Personally I think my current AMV level is not good enough, especially if you see the level of some of my other members. But yea, that has its upsides, since I advice and help my members the best I can and it resulted in them majorly improving their skills. But yea, I did that so intensively, that I didn't increase my own skills properly. But my members are returning the favor now by teaching my the basics of filtering, encoding and other AVIsynth stuff.
Now that I listed my reasons for starting this journal, let me tell some stuff about myself.
I'm Antoine ten Haaft, also known as AGF-Antoine on the internet. I was born on August 09th 1987. I live in the Netherlands, in the city of Heerlen. The AGF in my nick stands for AnimeGirls Fan, which means I'm a fan of animegirls. I got it due to the fact I like over 800 animegirls. My fav anime would be Mai Otome / Mai Otome Zwei / Mai Otome 0: S.ifr and any prequels and sequals it will get. My favorite anime character / animegirl is Roll from Rockman.EXE / Megaman NT Warrior though.
I think I bombed you with enough information for now, feel free to PM questions to me, if you got any about me or my AMV group, Eternal Genesis Productions. Beware though, I might use the questions as a part of my later journal posts.
Till the next post ;)
