  • Beta video 2002-03-31 21:44:38 I'm trying something a little different in my next video, so I'm putting up an early version of it in order to get some feedback. Since it's a beta, it's not the whole song, and the quality's a little low. Lemme know what you think. Thanks.

    I have to start a new video soon. As mentioned here at the end of
    January (gack), I've been fixing up old ones. I got sidetracked
    though to work on a video filter. I announced it in the Video Help
    forum, but here's the link:

    The new K-Team looked good, but the rainbows were annoying, and
    were the last thing I needed to eliminate.
    Also, after looking at the opinions for the video, I tried to make
    the voice in the video say "K-Team" instead of "A-Team", but it
    just sounded awful. I didn't bother trying the first time around
    since I didn't think it would work, so this time I proved it. :P

    Gonna make a NYO sign tonight and try to get it on Smackdown tomorrow.
    We don't have great seats, but oh well.

    paizuri: It's funny how game movie reviews are often given "qualifiers" and whatnot. One opinion I heard about the Mortal Kombat (first) movie: "As a movie, it's 5/10. As a B-movie, it's 10/10". Good luck getting an interview. :)

    One time years ago I saw that a picture on my server was loaded from another page. So I copied the image and fixed my page, then wrote a script to make it so the image he was loading was the correct image 18 minutes out of 19, but 1 minute out of 19 it was a picture of, uh, questionable content. (technically no naughty bits were showing!)

    It was hilarious seeing on his page one day something along the lines of, "uh yah I've been getting emails saying I got a bad picture on my page and I went there and didn't see anything wrong?" 
  • logo 2002-02-20 03:18:28 PS: I like the winning logo. If it means I like something that's "too literal", so be it. If it means I like something that looks like it's from an elementary schoolbook, so be it. (two comments on the logo)

    I realised the "verticalness" of the logo clashed with the "horizontalness" of the banners, but there are creative people here. They can make it work. There have already been comments about moving the text to the side.

    I didn't save the other logos so I can't recall offhand why I didn't prefer them.
