Otakon was great, though as I meet more and more people, I see less and less of the con. ^_^; That's not all bad, though. At least I saw MAT3K this year, unlike last year. I hope to see many of you again at AWA/AnimeUSA. The "psychological experiments" with CDs near the end of the con were fun. Must burn more for AWA!
Well, I skipped the "side stuff" on the third island in GTA3, and completed the last "story" mission and saw the ending. I'll go back and do D-Ice and the other stuff sometime. Stealing a tank was easy the first time, but I just played around with it and got it trashed. Stealing one the second time, to complete the last mission was hard. It took a lot of retries. Oh well... Grand Theft Auto Vice City comes out in October. I wonder what the delay will be between PC and PS2 versions. -

Kusoyaro: I think I'm locking myself at home this weekend to do some hardcore editing too. Wait, make that capturing. :( Unfortunately, I prefer listening to a different mix of the song I'm using, but that mix doesn't work for what I'm doing. -

Well, my latest video (besides the DDRPrj2 video) has been played at Anime North with no sound, and at Anime Expo with reversed field order. The way I see it, these cons are helping it live up to its name. :) (it's called "This Video Sucks") I have faith that Otakon will do better, though. ("Gotta have FAAAAIIIIIIIIIIITH!!!!")
In the "why has this worked so far?" category, I found out that a project I took over at work has been reading binary files in text mode. arrrrrrrrgh.
GTA3 update (flee now!): I finally got to the second island and did the fire and police missions there. (now four police bribes at hideout) I've been playing less due to AX and AMVs, so who knows when I'll finish it. I also had problems with the Turismo and Big'n'Veiny missions so I "upgraded" the Cheetah and Rumpo vehicles as well. (see previous entries) The Cheetah now has the weight and durability of a tank, and it's quite fun running into other cars full speed and sending them flying hundreds of feet. -
