Editing Editing Editing
2003-08-07 13:57:05
The past week I have just been ripping DVD footage and puttting it all together in Premiere. I have had a few bumps with Premiere and memory problems but I have gotten through them. I will finish the final cut this weekend and will premiere the video at my anime party on Aug 12th and after that I will post it on the AMV.org website.
Untill then you can watch the rough/draft cut version of our video Anything For Love

Started work on Final Cut
2003-08-02 14:57:10
I recieved the DVDs from Qui Monday and have begun the large and tedious task of editing and putting together what will become the final master version of Anything For Love. In two days i've done about 20 seconds of completed footage. So far the video quality is spectacular. The video already looks 10 times better then the rough cut that is already posted. I plan on having this done in a few days. I plan on posting it on AMV.org the following week.

Some viewer responses to Anything For Love
2003-07-27 04:37:36
Qui went to his work and showed his coworkers our video "Anything for Love" and I don't think we could have asked for a more diverse group of people to look at it. There was a body builder, a punk chick, typical blonde, asian chick, anime freak, and a guy that likes to make AMV's. So there was quite a diverse group. Heres how the opinions broke down: Body builder walked out in the first 10 sec, the blonde girl, the asian girl, and the punk girl really liked it, the anime freak thought it was ok becuase he though it needed some work we acknowledge, the AMV guy thought it was a good start.
So overall a good reaction to our video from people we've talked to. So far 36 people have downloaded the video, and 14 people have rated it with an average of 3.30 which is good, I think, for the current rough cut of the video which we intend to make our final cut with DVD footage which we hope will debut at the Anime Weekend Atlanta in September.

Redid some scenes in Anything For Love
2003-07-25 00:43:19
Qui came over this eavning and we both went over the video and changed the last 5-8 sec of the ending becuase we thought it would be too confusing for people who didn't know how Love Hina ended.
We origninaly showed the plane from the last episode from the Love Hina Again as the last shot but the unsuspecting person wouldn't have known that Naru and Urishma where in that plane. So we changed it to them in the sand box and little kids.
We also did a little cutting, basically cleaned it up before we show it to our friends and people we know to get there opinion on the video.
Im chosing not to upload this updated version becuase If you know the the series you will understand this video and the ending but to people who dont, who we will be showing it to in the next couple of days, we changed some things so they would better understand it.
Still waiting for the DVDs to get in and I hope to have this video completely done and finished in time to ship it off to the Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA 9) for the Music Video Expo part of the convention.
Video has been up for about 24 hours on AMV.org, about 150 or so hits and about 25 people have actually downloaded it, more that I actually though would so im happy just waiting for an opinion.
