Looking Back

A thread in the forums got me to thinking about the first amv's I've ever watched...Looking back now, most of the amvs I watched were all FAR from excellent...some would be a stretch to even call "good" (hey, this was back in my early bootube days after all)...
Never the less, I was inspired by these vids to make my own...
Through the years...I've learned new things, improved (at least, I like to think I did) and became the editor I am today...Funny that inspiration to do anything can actually come from rather poor sources. -

I finally will be editing a new video for the first time since doing a contest ad back in march...sigh, if only I can find the full version of the song I plan to use.
Oh well...2mins should be enough to shake off the rust. -

blarg...I hate those times when you have so many things in your head that you want to do but you spend most of the day trying to decide which thing to do first and in the end wind up doing nothing.

Welp I finally got my first .org crit for the AMV "So Delicious" (and holy sh*t I didn't get ripped on o.O)...Basically the op enjoyed the editing but, as I kinda knew would be the common complaint, disliked the quality of some parts and thought the compression was mediocre.
Whoever you are, MAJOR THANKS for the input...I'm taking every bit of the advice you gave me to heart...
One day i'll probably redo this vid so that it will be in much better quality, but for now, i'll just take what you said and apply it to future AMVs I have planned.
