So me saying incompetent judges means I was singling you out? Doesn't work that way. I had no clue who the judges were last year. So I can't be calling anyone out if I didn't know who they were at the time. I only knew you were a judge because of you coming to me about this matter. You are the one who took it personal. I don't see anyone else coming out of the woodwork harassing me about this subject. I've been trying to let this go, but people keep bringing me back in.
You judges or mods didn't bother to stop the flaming or trolling I received last year for my little outburst, but were real quick to tell me to stop without even mentioning anything of the sort to anyone else who kept godeing me on.
Just like this year. Inthesto wrote earlier:
"God dammit I stayed up for 48 hours to sign up for this contest and I even postponed my marriage date for it and now I fucking missed it and my fiance dumped me :("
Which is a clear shot at me from back in the day when I was trying to finish the original CascadaThon.
Nothing is being done about that post just like nothing was done about it last year. You could say I deserved it but that's no reason to not do your job as a mod. Letting the harassing continue just so you give someone a taste of their own medicine? How very mod-like.
And no. Mods can't do that. It' an abuse of power to forbid me to enter. The rules for non-competing say anyone is allowed to enter as non-competing. So, now it's: Anyone is allowed to enter except for TwilightChrono, cause I don't like what he has to say. Nope. Sorry. no dice. That's called an attack on someone. That's also considered flaming and is blatant power abuse.
Also, if the rule for no subtitles or watermarks is standard procedure at cons and in MOST contests then there must be a reason for it, no? For just about every Major Con to have that rule? And if these are so called rules since they are listed in the forum rules section, and they are considered more of a guideline than rules and aren't going to be inforced, then why the hell are they there in the first place? So mods can have a reason to disobey them at any given whim? Cause I see mods flaunting this flaming and berating and attacking crap everywhere when I am clearly not. That's in the rules section almost right beside the rules I have brought into question. So why are some rules followed and others are just disregarded.
Anyway. This is where I am laying the ball, Pwolf. Since mods don't have to follow the rules, then I won't as well. Seems only fair, don't you think? I've done nothing wrong in this situation except discuss my thoughts about the situations in general. And I'm the one coming under fire and getting banned from shit. Which by the way I am not banned from. I've already applied so I will still be submitting a video. Whether it gets accepted or not is up to the mods, but this whole situation is jank. But so as to not further drag this whole situation out I won't respond to anything else being said to me in Journal or in forum about this matter. I'm killing it now. Much like the role of mod has been killed in this situation.

Actually, I'll be the first to admit. I'm not the best editor in the world. Hell, I'm not even on the radar compared to other editors on the org. I've realized this for a long time now.
And since when did I say the contest had to be bent to my will? I said to make it fair for everyone who wanted to enter. So they all had a chance to actually sign up. People miss out on that chance to sign up especially when it's a small window like that. Of course some people are gonna be left out and feel wronged that it wasn't handled better because some people can't afford to sit around all day and wait for a fucking topic to open. So, yes. I do believe the registration could have been handled much better. Hell, had more time been given to everyone to sign up or was worked out differently all of what I have said would not have been said at all. Cause ample time was given. So I wouldn't have had an issue there.
Since when did the words "The video that beat me out last year, sucked" Ever come out of my mouth? Now you are putting words in my mouth. I criticized his video, not the editor. As I recall, that is common practice on the org. So, I'm entitled to do so. I never once called the editor ANYTHING. Everything I said was about his/her video. So get your facts straight.
So, now I'm being mean and feeling like the world owes me a favor because that is what speaking your mind means? I've been fine with my loss last year and have no more qualms about it at all. I haven't had qualms since I let it go LAST YEAR. You came to me and brought last year up. All I mentioned about last year was I had a problem with the decisions the judges made and the over lack of attention to the rules and I thought it coulda been handled better. Giving my opinion now makes me a fucking child. Careful, that sounds like name calling. It's against the rules.
I've also been banned from entering Yue's competition, but she can't do that. So I'll still be entering. Everyone except TwilightChrono is allowed to enter my contest" Sounds like a singled out & targeted attack on me personally and it makes me feel bad. Which is a clear violation of said rules moderators are supposed to enforce.
To make Yue feel important though, I guess I'll back down. I'll just leave the forums for a few days and simmer off. Thinking about it, I don't wanna joined a rigged competition anyways so you guys have fun. The answer was so simple. All this time complaining about not being accepted into a fixed competition. WTF am I thinking?
