I planned to compete with this one but I didn't make the last date of entering but it doesn't matter. Next year I will start in time. -
An all nighter

Well I decided to finish another AMV instead of the one I first were going to make. I think I can finish the other on time but I wont be satisfied with it, therefore I'll go with the other one. It's a remaster of my "Love between worlds". I'm not entirely satisfied with competing with that one but I rather send that AMV in than the other.
It's 5:30 am now and I don't think I will get any sleep. It depends on how fast I can finish this remake. Even though I have the old story and AMV to go after it still takes time. Also my family will come visit 12 pm tomorrow and I have to clean before then.
YAAAAWN Funny thing, last year I also pulled an all nighter trying to finish a AMV for the same contest and it was the original "love between worlds". Haha I didn't make the deadline even though I edited ~26 h straight. Damn I'm slooooow. -
Progress

I'm making some but it's getting harder and harder to focus. It's 2 am so I think I'll go to bed, rest a bit and try to wake up early tomorrow. I pretty much only have tomorrow to finish the AMV and I have approximately 3 minutes left.. -__-
Work start at 9 pm so that'll give me.. ~13 h if I wake up at 8. DAMN IT! I have to buy my sister a present also but if I'm fast I'll only loose an hour. Maybe I can make it..

Man I got to work on that AMV for the contest. Last day to turn it in is on saturday and I'm still stuck at 8 seconds.. This doesn't look good.
But at least I'm making progress on my cosplay. (Y) -
Dearth of ideas

There's this con coming up in about 46 days or so. (OMG that's soon!) and I really want to make an AMV to compete with in their contest. The problem is that my inspiration equals zero. I usally listen to a song and know exactly what anime and style to use but this time.. I dunno. There's several songs I would love to edit with but I neither see the story nor the anime.
A few days ago, during my usual youtube browsing, I actually found a song that gave me the right inspiration. I immediately knew how I wanted the flow to be and could already see some of the scenes and effects.
Now I've done 8 great seconds but it stops there.. Oh this is frustrating! I know how I want the chorus to be but it's about 40 seconds away.. I'll make something to eat and try again later.
