  • Life just sucks...and then you die? 2002-01-12 02:18:18 Well i might have created myself into either a martyr or a fool. My beliefs about DBZ have gone to the next level, prompting me to ask for 15 vids to review.

    Oh well, you only get to live once, and even then you have to go through all kinds of hell. Why not get all mine out of the way now and hopefully find another DBZ gem! 
  • Life just sucks... 2002-01-11 01:51:33 Im broke, the most common two words ever spoken by men. It's happeneing to me. All i have is 223 in my checking account and i've got cell phone bills, loans for a trip i took, night school charges, and now my brother wants me to buy some damn sex pheromone cologne that makesyou desirable to the opposite sex. AND some CD set that he wont tell me about. PLUS since i bought myself a sword set, everyone i know wants one. My friend wants me to get him a sword for himself and im just not wanting to take this right now...

    God must have been slippin when he thought of the idea of a credit card slipping into juvenille hands... 
  • I think i can, I think i can, I think i can... 2002-01-09 17:39:47 I was looking over the video awards for the viewers chioce awards and im wondering what catagories that my only entry, Wishes Are Eternal, might be entered in. The list is as follows...

    Best Character Profile
    Best New Creator
    Best Tribute Video
    Most Potential

    Might seem like quite a small list but i like where i stand. I would be very happy to be listed in any of these catagories or maybe even more of them, but if you want to ask me where i have a chance at winning...

    probably none.

    Though i would proabably be just as surprised as anyone if i did win. The video isnt all that bad, but its not screaming excellence either. The only one catagory i think might be for me is most potential or best tribute video. Character profile, no chance. Meri's Traces of Insanity, by my standards is a lot better character tribute then mine and new creator, i havent seen many new creators but im sure im not a standout in that area.
    I really dont plan to win anything this year but i plan to change that next year. 
  • Is it just me who has that uneasy feeling going back to school? 2002-01-06 16:53:47 Well, this vacation certainly has been one to remember cuz really nothing happened. Its the first vacation that i've spent doing nothing, outside of watching the Browns getting their asses kicked be the Steelers. On the AMV scene though it was a pretty interesting 2 weeks. I made a few decisions about the way i do AMV's.

    i've got a new testy idea that i don't think anyone has done but its nothing special. I was just looking at a lot of my older tapes of Digimon, Pokemon, Dragonball Z and others and i just wondered if someone had done a peaceful kind of video just to talk about the planet they were protecting and such. A video that shows Earth as it really is in the anime world, a beautiful world that almost everyone loves. Might be the lamest idea anyone has heard of but im willing to give it a try, but im not sure if i should use a orchestra type song or one with lyrics. An orchestra one would allow me more freedom, but one with the right lyrics, maybe Michael Jackson's Earth Song for example, could make it work better than that.  
  • Life moves on... 2002-01-03 02:20:20 Well i borowed a Shenmue Disc 1 from a friend and im working on getting all the necessary footage on CD-R. Whenever i get enough time to start a search for some good music, that will happen too althogh im still leaning toward the shenmue song off the game.

    Amazing what a credit card will do to one's repuataion. I bought myself a sword set, one kinda like the sword Duncan McCloud used in the Highlander series, but its the 3rd generation one. All of a sudden, my friend wants me to buy him a different sword set, my brother wants a BB gun, its too crazy. Im tempted to cut up the damn thing myself.

    I don't know if its due to not watching a lot of anime or just looking at the pisspoor videos done to video games, but i've started to tinker with more of those ideas then anime ones. The only anime im thinking of working on is Pokemon using the soundtrack from the Pokemon 2000 movie. The song The Power Of One. Even though i dont like the series like i used to, the soundtrack from that movie was sweet.

    Since im hosting the newer videos of my "business associate" Castor Troy, i cant upload any of my stuff for my site until he gets those videos to a new server. And that server is where i put my stuff for my site that i run.

    Right now, im keeping an eye out on a few videos some creators have been talking about in their journals, particulary TRZ's Irregulars video. It sounds very good to me and ill want to see that when it comes out.

    Well, like the title says, life moves on, and im hoping to keep one of my New Years resolutions of making a supreme DBZ video. Keeping true to that, i've totally scrapped my Life is More Than Fighting video, and im working from scratch. This video im gonna take my time with and there's really no set date or estimate date for this release, but ill say in the 2nd quarter of 2002. Keep an eye out for this one, it will definitely be a video worth the time to download, ill make sure of that.
