I just was bored and so i browsed through youtube and i had the idea to search for the song im editing to at the moment in addition to the word "amv".
"Lets see what others made with this song so far..." <-bad idea
First shock: Most of the amvs i found were just betas or crap - but there was one that had dismayingly much in common with what i made so far!!!
Second shock: Chii made something with this song!!! ok, she made it for an IC but...holy shit >.<
...i'm afraid that when i'll release my amv (in remote future) some people could claim that i stole some ideas from others
and i tell you right now: THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!!!! -

Studying and MEPs (less about studying - more about MEPs =P)

STUDYING
studying is hard work!
It's my second week at the university of applied sciences and i already have problems with comprehending the subject matters. But who would have thought that "computer technology" would be this difficult and boring...
MEPs
Due to this situation editing is much more fun than it was when i had holidays!
The Soul Eater AMV is going very well! Yeah, i already started editing it because MEPs are not going well at the moment. One is in a beta-testing-phase, one is almost finished, one i dropped and the other one i gave to my dear mep-track-partner because i didn't manage to make the beginning - he shall do it! ^_^
Somehow i have trouble with being part of an MEP (beside the 'no excuse' MEP - this one was easy). I recognized that i really have problems to sync beats because normally i choose songs i can sync the lyrics. And the songs in the MEPs i'm in are not part of this category. But i'll try my best to get over this weakness because i don't want to drop the other MEP too. -

yesterday i uploaded a video
today it still isn't here
that brings up the question"where did it go?"
did i make any mistake while uploading? -don't think so because i pushed the "i watched it and it's fine" button
did it always take this long until the local download was available and am i too impatient? - maybe. i can't remember how long it took until my other vids had been available
...however. I'll keep waiting
at this point i want to tell you somewhat about my first convention
Connichi 2009
it was really strange when i first came to this place. it seemed that everyone was disguised. and me and my friend (not in disguise) thought: "oh shit! we'll really attract attention!"
and it was the first time i met other editors in real. it seemed that the whole amv.de was there and i even can't remember everyones name. but they were all very friendly and funny (!!!i talked to JCD *hehe*!!!)
the Connichi was the whole weekend and i was there every day. after the second day i was already kinda exhausted and at the last day i was really tired (i didn't sleep very well at hotel).
but the very very best at the whole Connichi was when they showed my SNFC (the stupid vid i made for the contest) on the big screen. i'll never forget this moment. it was awesome.
looking forward to next year
