Well that escalated quickly

About a month or so ago, we've had squirrels running about in our loft scratching at the surface and generally being a pain. It wasn't much of a problem except for waking us up nice and early in the morning.
Then about 2 weeks ago they actually managed to nibble a hole in the ceiling of my brother's room. Not a huge hole but big enough for large spiders and whatnot to get through. :
So yesterday my dad finally got a guy to come and have a look to see to it getting repaired. After fiddling around a bit with it, the hole became bigger and he said the wood was starting to rot and had to be replaced too so he'll come back tomorrow with the materials to fix it. Okay.
Then today after knocking a whole chunk of the ceiling off to replace the wood, he found out the entire roof had to be replaced because there's a leak somewhere causing all the wood to be unusable. : So now he needs to come back another day with scaffolding and other materials so he can rip out all the tiles and wood and replace it properly BEFORE he can patch the hole made by the squirrel (which is now fucking huge)
Good grief. And all this started with a damn squirrel.
