Exhaustion

Viktor's lecture requires me to think too much. So much to the point where it leaves my mind severely exhausted afterwards. I always try to keep up with his speeches but I start to reach breaking point around one hour into the lecture and then I have to struggle to stay alive for the last half of it.
And it's not even a morning lecture, I don't have any other classes today either other than this one elcture at 3-5pm so I didn't even need to wake up early for it.
Oh, his subject isn't boring though. I actually find it quite intriguing to listen to his theories and stuff on KM though it feels more like a psychology lecture than a business lecture.
But the tiredness generated from his lecture is unreal. Now I don't even feel like doing any of my other homework...Zzz

Well today was the first time ever I submitted broken code. By broken I mean it doesn't work, at all. It'll compile and run partially but the MOST IMPORTANT PART doesn't work.
Granted, it was a group submission so it's not exactly as if I'll be shouldering the full blame for non working code but still, I feel bad. Because almost all of the coding was done by my group members and I only worked on a few lines and the report itself. That'll explain why I found the code extremely confusing cause for a start, I wouldn't have coded it in that way. (Generics and so many parameter passing is confusing! I'm a simpleton! Go easy on me!) Though funnily enough, I do understand their logic behind such coding and technically speaking, it SHOULD work.
But ya know, Java is annoying and a pain in the ass so it's probably something stupid that's preventing it from working and we'll slap ourselves silly once we realize it later.
Still, I have a feeling this won't go down too well with the lecturer tomorrow when we demonstrate it. "Oh hi, we're group 16 and yeaaaah, our code doesn't work btw."
Anyway I will be happy as long as he doesn't give us a fail mark. XD Cause honestly, I barely did any work at all. And for that I actually feel bad. WHY CAN'T I JUST BE A HEARTLESS BAMF SO I DON'T HAVE TO SIT HERE FEELING GUILTY IT DOESN'T WORK?! T__T

Squirrel Alarm

Squirrel alarm: 8:30am
So for the past few days instead of waking up to my obnoxious alarm clock telling me to get up and go to class, I've awoken up earlier than necessary by none other than stupid squirrels that have somehow gotten into the loft of my house.
They seem to find it highly amusing to play chase by running all over the place and occasionally nibbling and scratching at the surfaces. Little bastards.
I'm not an animal later, on the contrary I love animals so little squirrels, I will give you one more chance for us to coexist peacefully and that is you do your chase playing and nibbling after noon instead of during early mornings.
If you cannot even manage this then I will need to look into a method to shut you guys up permanently. Don't make me go there. I know how cold winter is outside which is why I haven't kicked you out the loft yet. Let that be a decision I won't regret making!

Cause they're evil. You can just tell by the fact that all the lecturers decided to schedule their assignment deadlines on the same week, right after one another. IT'S DELIBERATE I'M TELLING YOU!

So the first assessed coursework exercise (ACE) for this year's computer systems class was to attempt all the questions from the 2012 exam paper.
But because I managed to get >60% overall from all the class tests and coursework combined, I was exempt from the exam.
And I'm so so SO glad I did the coursework and got exemption because the exam is so fucking hard. You're normally allowed 2 hours for the exam. So far I've spent around 6-7 hours, open book style and only managed to complete 2/4 questions. Needless to say, if I had to sit it I would have most likely failed.
....
There is no exemption scheme for third years. >__> Oh dear.
