So I went Christmas shopping today. And my aim WAS to maybe buy 1 or 2 items for myself and then spend the rest of my time looking for potential presents.
In the end, I somehow managed to buy more for myself than for other people....
Why am I so selfish? Jeez. Now I have to go shopping again next week for presents.
And most likely end up buying more for myself again. Dammit self, stop being such a selfish bam! Dx -
Bad Scheduling

Since I can't use my laptop for schoolwork(because of lag) when I'm encoding, I decided to use the 3 hours it would take for encoding & upload effectively by playing Uncharted 3.
Then afterwards, I would edit some MEP parts and do some of my programming assignment.
And so I've managed to complete the last 14 chapters of the game and earned myself a lovely ending in just 6 hours.
But sadly now I haven't done any schoolwork. Or edited anything. And it's already 11pm.
Damn. Sometimes I really hate myself. -

Because of severe wind and weather conditions the University had cancelled all classes and closed the campus at 1pm today. Most schools in the Strathclyde area have been closed too. And me of course, am enjoying this lovely extra day off. :D

Shin: Such a shame the ice melted today or I would have totally tried that. If I broke any bones it'll just give me another excuse to skip class HURRAY!
Shee: TRADE PLACES WITH ME? NO? I KILL YOU THEN. XD
Warlike: You know, right after I got home from my death trip my mum actually suggested that to me. LOL. I thought she was kidding. XD
And for tomorrow:-
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for tomorrow afternoon which includes the South Lanarkshire area.
The red warning advises that there are likely to be strong winds of 75-80 miles per hour with gusts of up to 90mph.
Strathclyde Police advise that conditions for travel between 3pm and 6pm are likely to be poor and you should expect significant delays. The weather could result in all main road bridges being closed and there may be disruption to power supplies. They are also preparing for blown over trees and vehicles.

Death Trip

I think I almost died in the ten minutes I had to walk from the bus stop to my house.
The path goes downhill.
It was quite steep too.
And there was black ice.
ALL ALONG THE PAVEMENT.
And I couldn't walk on the road either because there was TOO MANY CARS.
I took every step in fear I might fall.
I had a feeling of relief for every step I took and didn't fall on.
A few times I was actually too scared to walk and had to stand still for a while to calm down.
REPEAT THIS BY 200+ TIMES.
As you can tell, my heart was on the verge of dying when I got to my house.
