...when you find a really awesome series that you know will stay in your favourites forever? When you just can't stop saying "wow" or stop smiling from the sheer awesomeness of the show? A show that doesn't need to have an epic story or awesome character development or even follow any logic or common sense, that despite its flaws you still rate 10/10 and consider it a masterpiece? One where after watching everything it has to offer, you still continue to stalk discussion threads and manga/novel alternatives/sequels? When re-listening to the awesome OST brings back scenes from the show and you get the urge to rewatch that awesomeness again? Where you get the feeling and think, YES THIS IS IT. THIS IS WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR.

I will admit, there are some parts which could have been better. A lot of stuff was left undeveloped in the series, in particular some of the characters felt unnecessary and useless except for hilarity/battle purposes (*coughMrBushidoLOLcough*) and also the movie had me wtf'ing all the way throughout. It's just so....wtf??! XD I don't know any other words to describe it. It like, skimmed the surface of the awesomeness from the TV series but I guess due to lack of time it kinda fell apart. I suppose trying to compress an epic story, character development, great intro/end mood buildup into just 2 hours is pretty much impossible and it did well for what it had to show. Despite the wtf-ness, that was a fun and enjoyable 2 hours I spent while watching. XD
Also I hate the empty feeling you get afterwards once you've realized you've watched everything. That feeling of wanting more. God, I'm so greedy. XD
Let's not exclude the fact that such shows tend to make me rave on and on like some loony fangirl at 2:40am in the morning. I'm so sorry. XD But if you're here reading my nonsense, you might as well go watch the series now. And then (maybe), you'll understand what I'm feeling just now. :P Though that too, is also pretty subjective cause if you don't like mecha, you probably won't understand it even after watching. XD
