Retrace 61 [spoilers for recent chapter of PH]

Sometimes I think Pandora Hearts is the most mind boggling manga series I have ever read before. Simply because whenever I start to understand the story and see where it's going everything does a big 180 and something so shocking and unbelievable is chucked INTO YOUR FACE.
I follow the story and I do see where the mangaka is getting at, infact I think the story itself is FANTASTIC. It's gripping, full of suspense and mystery while retaining it's emotional elements that just pulls the reader in. Not mentioning the artwork is brilliant, there's not a large amount of text but the drawings themselves convey the story well enough for you to understand what's happening.
Oh and in the few cases where there's dialogue, the words really leaves a deep impact on you. That's what makes this manga stand out so much. And it's what makes me all "ARGHGHHGRU!!!!!" when I finish a chapter.
Anyway enough blabbing about the series in general. The most recent chapter was just MINDFUCK. LIKE WTF. [MAJOR spoilers ahead - skip to bottom to find link to MMV]

SERIOUSLY. THE BAD GUY ALL ALONG, WHO IS ALWAYS PRETENDING HE IS DOING IT OUT OF GOOD WILL EXCEPT NOBODY BELIEVES HIM IS ACTUALLY A SOFT HEARTED KIND PERSON WHO LOVES HIS BROTHER MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. SO MUCH HE WOULD ERASE HIS OWN EXISTENCE FOR HIM.
Like really. What the hell. Who would thought he loved his brother so much that he wanted to erase himself from his life just so his brother could be happier? WHY ARE YOU SO CONSIDERATE?! I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT FROM YOU VINCENT!
Let's not forget all those times his brother kicked down his door to demand some explanation or reasoning for all his evil actions. IT WAS ALL FOR HIM THAT DAMN DOOFUS. AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE THIS BROTHER HE'S BEING NICE TO BECAUSE HE'S JUST A SEAWEED HEAD WHO HAS AN ANNOYING FETISH FOR OZ AND IS CREEPY AND ANNOYING IN GENERAL.
AND YES I AM TALKING ABOUT GIL. AND YES I HATE GIL. BUT THEN I ALSO DON'T LIKE OZ SO YEAH.
ALSO MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER BREAK IS BLIND. AND MY SECOND FAVOURITE CHARACTER ELLIOT IS DEAD. LIKE WHY?!
It makes me sad to see the events turning out like this, especially with Elliot. Because he was such an adorable, kindhearted, nobleman right until his death. His death literally brought tears to my eyes and not just in the one chapter but the few chapters his death spanned across. I mean all of his family were dicks apart from him, he did everything for his pride and family. The only one to befriend Vincent the psycho and Gil his brother whereas everybody else just shunned and looked down on them. REALLY, WHY ARE YOU SO NICE ELLY!? IT HURTS MORE TO SEE YOU DIE BECAUSE YOU WERE SO DAMN FREAKING NICE!
I MEAN EVEN RIGHT UNTIL THE END, WHEN YOU WERE DYING. YOU REFUSED TO BURDEN OZ WITH KILLING YOU SO YOU CHOSE TO REJECT YOUR CHAIN AND KILL YOURSELF INSTEAD! REALLY, YOU'RE TOO GODDAMN NICE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

....I've cried at tv dramas before. I've cracked a few tears for Clannad After Story but I have never ever came so close to wanting to actually cry for a MANGA. It's just pictures and text but it's so brilliantly done that it makes me want to cry. Jesus Christ, what the hell is wrong with me? ;__;
Seriously, I would recommend this to be one of the best mangas ever. If you managed to trundle through that mass of gibberish and spoiler crap then please check it out if you ever do have time.
And for the record, I think the anime for this is shit. Please read the manga instead. And if that isn't convincing enough, here is a really good MMV that got me back into the series after I had ditched the anime on episode 5.
