2010-09-06 22:05:11Hmmm... Darren Hayes has matured a bit since Savage Garden, hasn't he? I mean, he was already an adult then, but I think he's found himself in his solo music now. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. I'm not familiar with Casshern Sins, so I was basically just enjoyed the imagery, although I did understand a bit of the story behind it. I remember really enjoying your FFVII AC "You Are Loved" video, and because I was a huge Savage Garden fan back in the day, I thought I would give this a shot. It paid off, because this was an excellently edited video. Even for a newbie to the anime, you managed to convey its theme clearly, and you kept the flow of the clips light and interesting, so good work overall. Can't wait for your next one. : )

Video editing's what turned me into a die-hard Darren Hayes fan, because it made me sit down and pick apart his songs to figure out what exactly they mean, and man, some of them have a lot of depth! It's really surprising when you think about how pop Savage Garden and his earlier songs were (although I love that stuff too XD). I doubt this'll be the last time I work with his music.

My New Years Resolution: write one opinion a month this year. That's like writing 24 500-word essays... o_O Er...a 48-page short story? Yeah, that doesn't sound so hard. Now that this is immortalized on the internet hopefully I'll stick to it.
