Been planning an few AMV's of my own about a few years back, but could never seem to get the motivation going. That or just fell to disappointment due to some of the program requirements in order to create anime music videos. Sure, I want to work with them, but slapping down a good five hundred dollars for Premier just didn't seem too appealing to me.
But after searching around for some alternative programs, I ran into an few reasonable choices. That being Windows Movie Maker, and VirtualDub. Windows Movie Maker looked cool at first, for uh,.. ten seconds. But knowing that WMV formats just plain sucked in every direction as compared to the other MPEG4 containers, VirtualDub seemed to be of the only option later remaining.
Thus after studying further on what VirtualDub can do as to joining and filtering, an couple hours later and I was good to go. And in the end, met to most of my expectations of what I wanted to do.
