Who the hell am I?
General Info: Im in the 9th grade, yea finally high school! I guess ill just list the things i do. Im really into anime, obviously, but i also skateboard, do programming, and video games. One game that i really like is called DDR(Dance Dance Revolution). I have the game with pads at home, and go to the arcade a lot to play it. I can finally play on heavy, take that #$^*&!
Anime and Me: I didn't really get into anime heavily until 5th and sixth grade. Before that i didn't really appreciate anime, and just watched it every now and then when it came on tv. Then I started downloading anime, buying dvds, and searching for when it would be on tv. Id probly say the first anime i saw was Dragon Ball when i lived in Ohio in about kindergarten. I just thought it was a really screwed up show, i mean at that age what the hell do u expect to think when u see a little kid flying on a cloud with a stick on his back. Then i started to watch it more and more, and eventually started to work on anime sites, forums, and even create my own anime sites. Some of my favorite anime's are Gundam Wing, Rahxephon, Fooly Cooly, Blue Gender, Inuyasha, Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin, Excel Saga, and the list goes on and on.
The Computer and Me(damn i sound retarded): Well it all started when i was six, and the computer threatened to beat me to death with a stick if i didn't start using it, so i decided not to use it, and look how i turned out =P. I've always spent a lot of time on the computer, but it started out just playing little games and stuff for little kids. Then when i was in about 2nd grade i really started to surf net and get interested in more complicated stuff than PacMan(dont get me wrong, pac man is god). Then in about six grade i decided to start learning about computer languages and internet languages. I first tried to learn visual basic with a book of my dads, i got confused and threw the book across the room. Then i started to work on forums and some small sites. Through editing templates of the sites, and changing around layouts for the forum, i started to learn some basic html. I kept working on these sites, then got a book, and looked on the net for info on html. Around that time i also started doing graphics and banners for people on the forums. About a year and a half ago i started to heavily get into MAKING my own sites. I program the sites with good old notepad, and make graphics with photshop and paint sometimes. Ive already made a couple of layouts for pay, and the people have loved the layouts i do. Im still learning programming, and hope to soon learn cgi and javascript fluently. I am doing some basic php, use some cgi form and scripts, work a lot with forums and editing their files to install new modifications, and try whatever i can learn more about programming and creating sites. Eventually, Sonikku showed me the site that he and WP Fresh were working on, and i offered to help. I bought the domain name for the site, and then i contributed as much as i could to Shonen Anime. I started the forums with Fresh and SOnikku, i install multiple mods with Fresh, i installed a newsletter system for the main site, a poll system, and have done a lot of content for the site as well. I hope to keep adding more and more to SA and stay a part of it for a while.
