  • Profile: Hi, I'm Ash (M) (Ash is my real name, not a reference to pokémon or whatsoever). I live in The Netherlands, but I was born in Surinam on April 25 1983.

    I'm have totally been into anime ever since DBZ made it to dutch television. I searched the net for stuff about the series, but during my search I found out about a lot of other anime's and anime music videos offcourse! One of the first amv's I saw was "Traces of Insanity", by the talented Meredith Cantoni (Temple O' Trunks @ http://www.dbcollection.com/trunks). She did such a good job at it that it inspired me to create amv's myself.

    It wasn't for long that I finished "Tragic Youth". It is a terrible amv and it was more of a learning experience, but I'm still proud of it because it does two things very well; it tells a story and you can actually feel the vid. Most people don't put their early works online, but I chose to do so because no matter how bad it might have came out, it's still a part of me.

    After this amv I actually learned a lot on amv creating and my next vids are of a much higher quality. I can only hope you will recieve them with an open heart and mind and leave an opinion on them, even if you dislike it; just tell me what you like and dislike about it and it will help me in my next amv.
